WWE Suspends- King of The Ring, Responce and More

WWE.com has posted this announcement this morning:

STAMFORD, Conn., May 20, 2008 - In accordance with its Wellness Program, WWE has suspended, Darren Matthews (William Regal) for 60 days for his second violation of the company’s policy.

Regals reaction to his second suspension from the Wellness Policy violation, he is said to be “understandably deflated.”

-STAMFORD, Conn. - World Wrestling Entertainment says it has suspended performer Darren Matthews for 60 days for his second violation of the company’s drug policy.

Stamford-based WWE spokeswoman Jennifer McIntosh declined to say what drugs were involved. Matthews wrestles under the name William Regal. WWE suspends Darren Matthews
