WWE Smackdown/ECW At Burlington - Thoughts
This is Scooter’s wife - Scooter’s hanging around outside of the venue trying to get autographs, but I wanted to just say how AWESOME that show was!
I now get why every WWE fan should go to a WWE show.
It started out with Matt Hardy VS Finlay - Hardy won, of course - and got the show off to an energetic start!
There was one dark match - Scooter’s got the info, so he’ll get it on later - suffice to say, the wrestler wasn’t that great and didn’t keep the crowd’s attention.
Rey Mysterio DID appear, and I got to see the face of one little boy when he got to touch his idol - he held his hand in awe and swore that he’d never wash it. Mysterio kicked Chavo Guerrero’s ass, but seemed to almost be injured in his knee during the match. We’ll have to keep an eye on that.
The crowd went WILD when Batista came out - it was Batista VS The Great Khali - the match seemed to be almost over when Finlay rushed out and started beating Batista. Rey came out and rescued Batista, and the announcer said that Batista was the new champ! We’ll have to see how THAT plays out on Friday, as the taping is Tuesday…Rey said that he and Batista wanted to challenge Finlay and The Great Khali to a tag-team match, and the ref forced the match to occur!

We’ve got some AWESOME shots and some *ssssshhh* stuff that we’re not supposed to have, that we’ll be posting on Monday. Trust me - you’re not going to want to miss it!
