Lots of big things happening over the weekend with perhaps the biggest announcement set to be delivered tonight on Raw.
- WWE is reporting that first thing on tonight’s RAW Undertaker will announce who he will be facing at Wrestlemania. With Bobby Lashley and the ECW Championship seemingly out of question Undertaker will likely announce he will be facing either John Cena or Batista with my vote going to Batista and the World Heavyweight Title. This makes the most sense given the feud that has cropped up between Shawn Michaels and Cena.
- This past Friday’s SmackDown episode ranked a 3.1 TV Rating making it one of the best SmackDowns in WWE history. This just goes to show that wrestling and particularly the WWE is getting more and more popular. It will be interesting to see if the good news transfers into a record number of Wrestlemania 23 buys or not. (via Lords of Pain)
- PWMania.com is reporting that Thomas Penmanship, who has previously wrestled in the WWE has signed a development contract with them. Cassidy Riley, another recent WWE signing will be heading to the Ohio Valley Wrestling developmental territory.
- The previously reported Wrestlemania 23 rumors putting both Vince McMahon and Donald Trump have seemingly been called off. No word yet on why or what sould be a possible replacement.
- Dan Rodimer, a Tough Enough 4 reality show contestant will face Eugene this week on Raw. No word on whether it will be a TV debut or not.

[...] Tonights Raw will also feature Ric Flair taking on Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy. With a win Flair will get a title shot at Wrestlemania. I just don’t see Flair fitting in with this storyline but we will just have to wait and see what storyline WWE is going with here. Tonight we should also see just what WWE is going to do with the Vince McMahon/Donald Trump storyline after reports are saying that it is no longer being considered for Wrestlemania. [...]
