WIKIPEDIA Pronounced Nancy Dead 13 Hours Early!

It’s being reported, now, that a post went up on Wikipedia on Chris Benoit’s page pronouncing his wife dead - 13 hours before the police found her!

“Chris Benoit was replaced by Johnny Nitro for the ECW Championship match at Vengeance, as Benoit was not there due to personal issues, stemming from the death of his wife Nancy.�

The IP address that edited Benoit’s entry was 69.120.111.23, which traces back to Stanford, CT.

No one seems sure if the edit was done by a WWE staff member, or a hoaxer who just got lucky. Police believe that the person who edited the post knew that Nancy Benoit was truly dead.
