Update with Jeff Hardy/WWE, Vince Fired UP
PWInisder reports the word going around at the PPV last night is that Jeff Hardy has agreed to stay on with WWE through SummerSlam. I don’t have that 100% confirmed but that is the rumor that was making the rounds.
Also, apparently Vince McMahon was not very happy about the opener and how it went over as he was seen throwing down his headsets at the end of the bout. Wow, who would have thought that putting Big Show in the spot of mystery partner wouldn’t have gotten the fans fired up?

My personal opinion is this- Take away the 3 different ‘brands’ (raw, smackdown, ecw) and make it a unified company. When they limit themselves to talent specific to each show it becomes predictable and repetitive. People have been complaining about the feud between HHH/Orton (and now Cena)for awhile now because it’s been going on for what, a year now? They’re running out of storylines because they have to use the same superstars every week (and to be honest, half of the superstars aren’t really attractive to the audience). The ‘drafts’ that happen once a year kinda rustle the talent a little, but it doesn’t really shake things up enough to get everyone’s attention.
In the end, while it might have been a surprise to see the Big Show come out to be a partner, it really wasn’t that much of a shock. With such anticipation they built up for the reveal, it should have been a Superstar from waaaaaaay out in left field that no one coulda seen comin’.
Vince, if you’re reading this- I got great ideas, shoot me an email and we’ll talk

dat_freshprince.. I totally agree with you, you can not air that many talents in an two hour show….
