TNA Impact **Spoilers** for Oct. 16 on Spike
TNA Impact “Spoilers” for this Thursdays Oct. 16th airing on Spike TV. Mick Foley’s HUGE Announcement:
- The Motor City Machine Guns beat Sonjay Dutt and TNA X Division Champion Sheik Abdul Bashir. After the match, Angle laid everyone out and cut a promo, demanding a match with Jeff Jarrett.
- Backstage, Kevin Nash said the old Nash was back and said he’ll get his own back on Samoa Joe for Joe disrespecting him.
- Interview time with new TNA World champion, Sting. He talked about respect. It let to a face-to-face with AJ Styles, who slapped Sting across the face. They got into it until being pulled apart.
- Booker T beat Hernandez.
- Kurt Angle attacked Dave Penzer at ringside. This led to Jeff Jarrett coming out. The family-driven aspects of the storyline continued from the last tapings as they talked about how Angle met Jeff’s girls at his house prior to signing with TNA. Angle said perhaps they need a visit from ‘Uncle Kurt’ which led to Jarrett trying to attack Angle, who bailed out of the ring. Good heat for this.
- Mick Foley came out to say his “goodbyes” to TNA. Nobody bought this. Foley put over some of the young guys including Jay Lethal and AJ Styles before Jarrett came out to shake his hand.
- Roxxi beat Raisha Saeed. Afterwards, Awesome Kong laid Roxxi out.
- Kevin Nash beat Consequences Creed. Afterwards, Nash cut a promo saying he’s the smartest man in wrestling (which if you look at it from the ‘earn the most to do the least’ POV I guess is accurate).
- Kurt Angle beat Matt Morgan. Afterwards, Angle attacked Abyss, who had come to make the save.
- After Mick Foley is shown leaving Jeff Jarrett’s office, we see the two leaving together in a car heading for Las Vegas. Foley says that on next week’s show he’ll make a shock announcement that will change the wrestling world.
