The Rock On Steroids and Chris Benoit

In an interview on Friday with Fox sports, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was told about the ten wrestlers that were suspended. He was upset about it, and had some things to say about steroids, the suspensions, and Chris Benoit.
Dwayne has said that he never used Steroids while he was with the WWE. He said that he perferred to work on being the most entertaining, not the biggest, and that more wrestlers should focus on their performance, no performance enhancers. He did admit to using them for a brief time in college, but says that it wasn’t a fulfilling experience.
“I always joke about it because nothing happened. I had no idea what I was doing. I was probably taking Advil or something like it because it seemed like there were no changes.”
Johnson was appraised about the 10 suspensions and had this to say:
“Clearly, there has to be an aggressive educational program put in place,” Johnson said. “These guys have to be armed with the knowledge and understanding of how bad these drugs are and the dangers of mixing these drugs with the lifestyles they lead.”
When it comes to Chris Benoit’s strange and violent actions, Dwayne was confused.
“I was blown away,” Johnson said. “I had a chance to work with Chris on many occasions. He was a great guy and I knew his wife very well. The guy I knew wasn’t the guy who committed these heinous crimes. I’ve stopped trying to figure it out because Chris had wiring that allowed him to do that where anybody who was sane couldn’t fathom doing that.”
