The Rock at Southland Tales Premiere
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was at the premiere of Southland Tales this week-end at the AFI FEST 2007 in Los Angeles,California.. The festival runs through Nov.1-11.
AFI FEST presented by Audi is the longest-running film festival in Los Angeles and one of the most influential film festivals in North America. Each year the Festival presents one of the world’s most anticipated showcases of international film, demonstrating AFI’s commitment to celebrating the art form.
Southland Tales is an ensemble piece set in the futuristic landscape of Los Angeles on July 4, 2008, as it stands on the brink of social, economic and environmental disaster. Boxer Santaros(Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) is an action star who’s stricken with amnesia. His life intertwines with Krysta Now(Sarah Michelle Gellar), an adult film star developing her own reality television project, and Ronald Taverner(Seann William Scott), a Hermosa Beach police officer who holds the key to a vast conspiracy.
This film opens to “limited” theaters on November 14.
Talking about theaters, there are also cimenas looking through the eyes of the crowd.
