Stone Cold Movie coming Next Year
WWE Films will release “The Condemned” Starring Stone Cold Steve Austin on April 27th, 2007.
From IMDB:
“The Condemned” tells the story of Joe Conrad (Stone Cold Steve Austin), who is awaiting the death penalty in a corrupt Central American prison. He is “purchased” by a wealthy television producer and taken to a desolate island where he must fight to the death against nine other condemned killers from all corners of the world, with freedom going to the sole survivor.
The Condemned has an interesting premise, and if Steve has the acting chops for it, this could be a great action flick. So far the WWE has only had modest success with their films division, and it will be interesting to see how well Steve Austin can draw after all these years away from the WWE Main Event.
