-A LAWSUIT by three disgruntled ex-WWE wrestlers will be requested to be dismissed by Federal Court, according to the company’s top lawyer.
The threesome – Scott ‘Raven’ Levy, Chris ‘Kanyon’ Klucsarits and Mike Sanders – say the WWE classified them as independent contractors, but treated them as full employees.
They are suing the federation for “unspecified compensatory damages” over benefits they would have received as employees, and hope to extend the claim to every grappler under contract to Vince McMahon’s group from 2002-2008. McDevitt makes WWE’s defence

-John Cena underwent what was labelled “emergency surgery” on Tuesday in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as world-renowned neurosurgeon Dr Joseph Maroon removed a large piece of disc material that was pressing into his spinal column.
