Stephanie McMahon Promoted

by Scooter

stephaniemcmahon.jpg On Tuesday, WWE announced that they had three heavyweights within the organization that were getting promoted.

Brian Gerwitz, creative director for WWE RAW, and Michael Hayes, creative director for WWE SmackDown. They now have the new titles of Vice Presidents of Creative. Hayes is also assuming Pat Patterson’s old position of Senior Agent. Word is that this small move for Hayes is already rubbing some people wrong, since Hayes doesn’t travel to house shows, but will now receive the pay of somebody who should.

Stephanie McMahon-Levesque was also promoted to Executive Vice President of Creative. This job now gives her more control over the Board of Directors and comes along with a nice pay raise.

This promotion will put her a little closer to her brother, Shane McMahon’s salary. Shane is currently the WWE Executive Vice President of Global Media.

In the world of WWE, it pays to have the last name McMahon.

No doubt, it is definitely an family empire. I also doubt that there are few poeple who have had the insider upbring that these two have had. They are probably pretty savvy about how this business runs. Great post.

They’re definitely savvy about the business…it makes me wonder what the newest McMahon’s are going to be like!
