Smackdown from Charlotte, N.C.

Smackdown starts off with Razor Edge W/ Edge. He explains that on Monday there will be a special 3 hr Raw show, and that his guest tonight is Torrie Wilson. Edge comes out and blames Torrie for the death of Vince McMahon. He says that she should take a lie detector test. Ric Flair comes out and consoles Torrie, and she leaves. Flair starts knocking Edge and MVP around, and as things turn on Flair, Batista runs out to the ring and both Edge and MVP flee.

MATCH #1: Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore VS Jamie Noble & Chavo Guererro

Moore and Noble start off with parallel moves. Noble tags Chavo, Moore tags Yang and Chavo immediately leaves ring and tags Noble. Chavo does not want Yang until Sunday night, at Vengeance. Moore is tagged in against Chavo and gives hm a corckscrew moonsault off the top rope for a near fall. Noble interjects but Moore is able to throw Noble out of the ring. Yang gets on the outside apron for a flying somersault on Noble, knocking him on the outside floor. Chave to his feet and gives Moore a flip over to a backside bomb for the count.

WINNER: Jamie Noble and Chavo Guererro.

Match #2: Funaki VS Mark Henry
Funaki goes after Henry, but it is like a fly on an elephant. Henry picks up Funaki and gives him a bear hug. Funaki eventually passes out and the ref calls for the bell.

WINNER: Mark Henry
Match #3: Matt Hrady VS Finlay
Hardy going after Finaly, but Finlay counters. Finlay fights with the honor of the Irish flowing through his veins. Hardy goes for a baseball slide at finlay, but Finlay moves, as Hardy’s feet hit the floor. Hornswaggle appears from underneath the ring. As Hardy jumps on corner post, Finlay grabs his legs and Hardy lands on his injured left knee. Finlay capitalizes on the injury by attacking the left knee numerous times. He rams Matt into the steel steps against his left knee. Finlay gets Matt’s brace off and applies the Indian death lock on Matt’s injured knee. Hornswaggle enters the ring with a shelileigh, distracting the ref as Finlay hits Matt with the shelieligh. Matt gets to his feet in a last ditch effort and manages to deliver the twist of fate.

WINNER: Matt Hardy

Michael Cole says that WWE.com now has a “who dun it” place for you to tell who you think killed Vince McMahon.

Match #4: Chris Masters VS Danny Shanley
Masters shows true dominance over Shanley. He gets him quickly into the Master Lock and the ref calls for the bell.

WINNER: Chris Masters

Daniel Beck has a press conference and says that they found evidence of DNA from Mr. McMahon, the limo driver and a “well-known person” inside the burned-up limo.

Match #5 Ric Flair and Batista VS MVP and Edge

Crowd goes crazy for Flair. Flair starts off chopping away at Edge, knocking him down. Flair and Batista keep tagging between each other, to keep the energy up. Batista gets into trouble against MVP from a boot to the face and manages to tag Flair back in. Edge gets in a nice spear and softens Flair up for MVP. MVP gets the abdominal stretch onto Flair, but Flair manages to tag in Batista at the last minute. MVP tags in Edge. Batista takes Edge for a sunset flipl. Batista charges as Edge jumps over Batista, ramming into the corner post. Batista gets a hold of Edge and goes for the Batista Bomb.

WINNER: Batista and Ric Flair

I acutally think that Ric Flair and Batista have a great partnership and are great as tag-team partners.
