Smackdown Preview:Deadman Reigns, Mick Foley to Commentate for GOOD!!

World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker came to Backlash, he saw, he conquered. The Phenom once again subdued Edge with his vicious chokehold, but this time may have injured Edge. Ever since becoming champion at WrestleMania XXIV, The Phenom has forged a path of destruction through WWE. Can anyone stop The Deadman? Will the Rated-R Superstar and his entourage be out for revenge this Friday on SmackDown? Will Edge be in any condition to be there?

At Backlash, Matt Hardy finally got what he wanted – revenge against United States Champion MVP, and in the process, the United States Championship. What’s next for the new champion? How will SmackDown’s Franchise Playa react to being stripped of the title he held for almost a year?

As promised, Shawn Michaels brought his A-game to Backlash to silence his top critic, Batista. Just like last Friday on SmackDown, it was some hard-hitting Sweet Chin Music that tamed The Animal. Will Batista be able to use this loss to his advantage, fueling the fire against his next SmackDown opponent?

It was pandemonium in the 12-Diva Tag Team Match at Backlash. In the end, the team featuring SmackDown’s own Natalya & Victoria got the victory over the opposing team, which included Michelle McCool & Cherry. Will SmackDown newcomer Natalya be able to carry this momentum to Friday night, or will McCool and Cherry have something to say about how things went down at Backlash?

And, after debuting on color commentary for SmackDown at Backlash, WWE.com has learned that ?Hardcore Legend? Mick Foley will be coming to Friday nights for good. Don’t miss Foley’s debut this Friday as SmackDown sorts out all the fallout from Backlash at 8/7 CT on The CW Network.
