Raw Results 8-18-08 New Unforgiven Match, My NetworkTV and more

-Chris Jericho urged Shawn Michaels to stay home and tend to his injured wife, who is suffering after being accidentally punched by Jericho at SummerSlam.

-Batista defeated Paul Burchill.

-Adamle introduces a newcomer to Raw, Primo Colon (Eddie Colon) brother to Raw superstar Carlito.

-Mickie James & Kelly Kelly defeated Katie Lea Burchill & Jillian.

-John Cena will face World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhoes & Ted DiBiase tonight in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match.

-The referee ended the match between JBL and Jamie Noble, awarding the win to Layfield.

-My Network TV is scheduled to air Smackdown! on Friday October 3rd.

-Raw General Manager Mike Adamle set a match for tonight between World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and Chris Jericho.

-Adamle announced a “Championship Scramble” for Unforgiven between World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, Kane, JBL, Batista and John Cena. The match will last for 20 minutes and will see the title go to whoever can defeat an opponent, with the championship allowed to change multiple times during the match. At the end of the time limit, whoever the current champion is will be the new World Heavyweight Champion.

-John Cena defeated World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase after Cryme Tyme stole their titles.

-Next week , One Night Only on Aug. 25 an Special Edition of Raw will be airing on Sci-Fi Channel at 9pm eastern.

-In an interview from SummerSlam, Shawn Michaels claimed that he will be going home to tend to his wife and comfort his children, but ominously added “and then … then …”

-D-Lo Brown defeated Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella, but it was by disqualification so the title did not change hands.

-Kane revealed that he had beaten Rey Mysterio in the parking lot weeks ago and stolen his mask. Afterward, Batista rushed the ring and attacked the Big Red Monster, who gained the advantage over The Animal due to his injured leg.

-Chris Jericho (w/ Lance Cade) defeated World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk in a non-title match.
