TNA KnockOut Traci Brooks confirms that is is going to be in Playboy reports The Sun.

“Yes, it’s true! I will be the first TNA Knockout ever to grace the cover and pages of Playboy.

“I can’t wait for all my fans to see it. I will be doing a big media tour in October to promote it plus several autograph signings.”

Traci then goes on to say:

“It would be a really good thing for TNA.

“I say go for it!”

PWInisder reports the word going around at the PPV last night is that Jeff Hardy has agreed to stay on with WWE through SummerSlam. I don’t have that 100% confirmed but that is the rumor that was making the rounds.

Also, apparently Vince McMahon was not very happy about the opener and how it went over as he was seen throwing down his headsets at the end of the bout. Wow, who would have thought that putting Big Show in the spot of mystery partner wouldn’t have gotten the fans fired up?

Funk’s Corner - Christian, Mickie James and Jeff Hardy Win at WWE’s Night of Champions

Funk’s Corner - Three wrestlers who have trained in the Dory Funk Method of Professional Wrestling appeared on WWE’s Night of Champions last night and all three came out victorious. Here at the Funking Conservatory Wrestling School we are proud of the accomplishments of Christian (ECW Champion), Mickie James (Diva’s Champion) and in the last match on the card, Jeff Hardy (World Heavyweight Champion) winning in a classic match against C. M. Punk.

New on !BANG! TV, Studio Sar-Ah features Special Guest, Blain Rage. Sar-Ah and Blain Rage are in conflict throughout this installment of Studio Sar-Ah. Blain Rage accuses Sar-Ah of costing him a victory at the last !BANG! TV Taping by throwing in the towel. Sar-Ah offers proof in wasn’t Blain Rage’s towel she threw in.

The Miami Herald has an featured article on TNA’s Mick Foley. Foley talks about Improv, an stand up comedy in Hollywood on Aug. 22. Here are few snippets:

Feeling at home with TNA Wrestling:

“I don’t feel like every match coming up is a chance to destroy my legacy,” he said. “I look at it as a way to possibly try out some new things. I used to really dread the possibility of having that bad singles match that people would look at and say, `I really wish he would have stayed retired for good.’

“This is a really good time in my life. I feel like I’m contributing. The schedule is not so grueling that I can’t have a good family life. I feel like the young guys like having me around. When something happens, some kind of circumstance or injury, I’m a credible guy to step in and go to bat.”

Foley then talks about his ninth book release around fall of 2010:

“I have a little chapter titled The Perfect Way To Go, and it’s about my reaction to seeing my 6-year-old son booing me. For quite a while that was his ongoing little rib to his dad, booing me.

“He’s 8 now, and it was just in the last few days here in TNA I looked out and saw him really, really enjoying the matches and getting excited and cheering me on. As nice as it was to be booed by my son, it’s even better having him cheering me on.”

Bobby Lashley joining TNA roster:

“I think it’s huge for TNA to sign Bobby Lashley,” Foley said. “Obviously, Vince McMahon saw his potential, and he really tapped Bobby as his next big superstar. That was well on the way to happening, when they had a falling out, and I think we’ll be able to benefit in a way WWE was not.

“Bobby’s a great a talent, a great guy, and he’s capable of having big matches with the best talent we have.’

Dinner with TNA president Dixie Carter:

“[TNA President] Dixie Carter has been great,” Foley said. “My wife and I had dinner with her, and I mentioned to her during my 12-year association with WWE that my wife and I never dined together with Mr. McMahon. There is a comfort level that was just never there with WWE.

“I’m very happy to be with TNA. I don’t look back at my time with WWE with any bitterness — except I thought they could have done a better job pushing my book in 2006. It was, for the most part, a really, really good place to work, but I have no doubts leaving WWE and heading to TNA was the best move I could have made at that time.” Read the complete interview go here.

-Slam Wrestling got an article on Lance storm wrestling this past week-end in Toronto at an Ring Of Honor event taking on Chris Hero. Storm got emotional at then end of his match.

Storm says,

“I mean this from my heart, thank you,” Storm said at the end of the evening’s show at the Ted Reeve Arena in Toronto’s east end. “Thank you for supporting me, thank you for supporting a great wrestling company.”

Also noted, The Nature Boy Ric Flair signed autographs for the Ring Of Honor fans, the autograph session lasted three hours even thou the ROH event started at 5:30Pm to 7:30PM. They say this is Flairs final appearance for ROH.

-The Miami Herald has a lengthy story on Madison Rayne. She talked about leaving college with a 4.0 grade average after her first year to pursue wrestling: “My mom doubted it and was disappointed, but I think the fact I set my goals, and I knew what I wanted, and I went after it, and I didn’t stop no matter what anybody said until I reached a goal, made my parents proud that they instilled that in me. They always wanted me to do well, and they wanted to make sure I was safe.”

-Gail Kim wrote a MySpace blog responding to messages she had received over concerns from fans about her character. She wrote: “… As for this recent draft, I was kind of surprised but happy. I loved the Smackdown side and will miss everyone there but I know [Raw] is a great opportunity and a chance to go for the one title I haven’t held yet, the Divas title. I also love the live show aspect and am really looking forward to facing Beth Phoenix or possibly Mickie James. I have a lot of respect for them and haven’t faced them since pretty much my independent wrestling days. It will be interesting to see how far we have come since those days… I am getting a lot of emails and comments regarding how I am being used in the WWE and I appreciate the support but I wish everyone would just be patient like I am and stay positive. I am having fun doing what I love. Good things come to those who wait.”

-WWE star Shad Gaspard posted on his Myspace that he was at Comic Con to promote an new movie he might be in called, “Dead And Gone”. The film currently has a 9 million dollar budget, and is to be set in the US & Fiji. It is being produced by Jordan Yale Levine, Franco Sama, andFylmar Productions. Written by David Frigerio; it is an action drama about 2 brothers, 1 white, 1 black, who never met each other and come together to avenge their father’s death before the rival mob boss kills them. My character helps them get revenge.
