No More Smackdown on the CW?
Looks like we’re going to have to go somewhere else to get our Smackdown fix after this fall. Both the CW and WWE have announced that after the 2007/2008 season ends, they will no longer be affiliated with each other.
So where is Smackdown going to go? Because you know that Vince isn’t going to let it disappear entirely.
My guess would be NBC, who is owned by USA (who airs RAW). It makes sense, especially when you factor in that there was already talk about NBC picking up the WWE after the writer’s strike made it apparent that they were going to need to find something else to air.
After all, Vince has already made it apparent that he wants to start consolidating, like he did with the training grounds just recently, so why not have all of his shows on one network? Is it wise, however, for Vince to put all of his eggs in one basket?
What do you think?
