Monday Night Raw Results 5/14/07

Cena comes out to the ring - titleless. He says that the Great Khali has his title, and that he has all the respect for the WWE, and especially for the Heavyweight title. Cena says that on Judgement Day it will be Khali vs Cena, and that he wants hit title back NOW.

Khali appears on the Titontron with a translator and dares Cena to “come get some”. Cena heads back. Khali kicks the ever loving crap out of Cena, ending with a Chokeslam on the metal overhead door, leaving Cena motionless on the floor.

MATCH #1: Jeff Hardy W/ Matt Hardy VS Trever Murdock W/ Lance Cade

Hardy gets Murdock in the corner and pounds him in the head. A few minutes later and the match is done, mostly dominated Jeff, after Jeff gets Murdock into the inside Cradle for the 1-2-3.

WINNER: Jeff Hardy

Murdock proves his sportsmanship by shaking Jeff’s hand when the match is through. Excellent match.

MATCH #2: Santino Marella VS Chris Masters
INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE

Marcella is about 1/2 the size of Masters, but Marella does his best. Twise Masters tried to put the Masterlock on, but Marella escapes. Marella gets Masters in a roll-up.

WINNER: Santino Marella

Another “gimme” to Marella. Something’s up with this…

Melina comes down to the announcers table and does a nice little split on the table in front of JR and King. She’s apparently there to comment on the next match.

MATCH #3: Candice Michelle VS Victoria

Our T&A Matinee for the evening. Yeah, another boring Diva match.

WINNER: Candice Michelle

More tits and great ass - why in the hell does Vince put these women on? All he would need to do is add Cool Whip to make it something out of a Las Vegas bordello. In my opinion, the WWE needs more women who can kick ass and less women who pose for Playboy!

Edge comes out and says that he will defend his title on Judgement Day vs Batista. HBK comes out and says that he will take on Edge in his “farewell” match tonight (remember, Edge is going to Smackdown to cover for injured wrestlers).

MATCH #4: Jonathan Coachman VS Bobby Lashley

A joke of a match - Lashley dominates pinning Coachman easily

WINNER: Bobby Lashley

Shane and Umaga enter the ring for a quick attack. Lashley fights free - knocks out Shane and spears Umaga. Lashley goes after Vince, who’s outside the ring, but Shane gives him a flying elbow, knocking him to the ground. Shane runs over the barrier and through the crowd, Lashley following behind. Shane makes it to the limo, and when Lashley turns around he is smacked upside the head by the ECW title that Vince is holding.

MATCH #5: Carlito VS Val Venis

Val Venis is being used as a scapegoat, which makes me sick. Venis takes control of the match for awhile, getting on top of the corner post hoping for the money shot. Carlito gets up and Venis walks towards him. Carlito grabs Venis’ trunks, pulling him towards the ring post and into the back cracker.

WINNER: Carlito

The only good part about this match is that Flair comes running from the back and Carlito, scared witless, runs into the crowd.

MATCH #6: HBK VS Edge

The entire match, Edge is trying to take advantage of HBK’s previous concussion. He keeps giving him head shots left and right. The two go at it for awhile, literally beating each other senseless. Finally HBK gets out of a reverse neck breaker and takes over the match. He gives Edge some sweet chin music for the pin.

WINNER: HBK

We come back from the replay to see Orton on top of HBK, pummeling his face. During the replay Orton ran out and started beating HBK down. HBK is on his knees, and Orton kicks him in the face - HBK is down. We close with Orton standing, triumphant, over HBK.
