Missing Link… to Extreme Wrestling
I see that ECW is on a downhill slope. The ratings are crap and Vince has pretty much turned this wrestling extravaganza into another Smackdown. Everybody knows that ECW is a one of a kind and is supposed to be EXTREME wrestling. Vince McMahon has pretty much killed this concept. Why, Vince, why are you trying to turn this original extreme wresting into one of your usual side-shows. I think everyone knows that its all about the most bizarre and unusual wrestling there is.
Vince is on the rise of trying to forsee the future. Most of his wrestlers are on the injured list so Vince is going to try to spice things up with his Draft Lottery. But we all know that in Vince’s world, money is all powerful. I think that no matter what Vince does for this Lottery, ECW will remain the same. Vince has got to look at the whole picture. E.C.W. Extreme Championship Wrestling.
As I see it, Vince has got to bring the extreme back to ECW and I think he might have it in his pocket.
The Hardcore title.
The most extreme WWE has to offer and the damn thing has been on the back shelf far too long. As far as everything goes, the original Hardcore legend can be disputed. In my opinion, there is nothing to dispute. Terry Funk is the Original Hardcore Legend. The only extreme that WWE has ever had is through the passing of the Hardcore Title.
The only other hardcore legend that comes to mind is Mick Foley. I remember 1998 - Mankind VS the Undertaker - HELL IN A CELL!
Here’s another thought - what if the hardcore title was able to switch from show to show. Since there can be only one hardcore champ among WWE lets make him or her (yeah right, but you never know) fight on either Raw, Smackdown or ECW- the home of Extreme.
