Matt’s report from his Myspace:
Day Number Ten (UPDATED)
Hi guys and gals-I hope this post finds everyone healthy, happy, and well! As you know, I’ve been focusing extremely hard on getting better–and I am. I wanna thank everyone who has sent cards, letters, gifts, even flowers (thanks Chad & Kelly)–you guys have been SOOO supportive. I also wanna thank the WWE, they’ve been very good to me through all of this. And just because I had such a good time doing it before, I’m gonna post some cool You Tube links I’ve run across while I’ve been recovering–enjoy!
P.S.-I wanted to add a couple more thoughts to my “Day Number Ten” blog. To begin with, I’m doing the best job that I can at being patience with my needed physical recovery time. I am such a Go!Go!Go! type person, it’s really hard for me to restrain myself from trying to do more-but I am. I’m mentally stronger than ever, and in my opinion, that’s the most important at this stage of my recovery. I’m counting down everyday until I step into the ring again-and then ultimately become the United States Champion. I won’t be denied!
It’s also very hard for me to watch the WWE product from this side of the television-I wanna be out there so badly. But one thing that’s not hard to watch is my brother Jeff recently. Jeffrey Nero has been doing absolutely awesome lately-and I’m so proud of him. I’m amped for his Armageddon match with Triple H-it’s an awesome opportunity for Jeff to shine. Go get ‘em baby bro!
Although I never expected to find myself away from WWE programming and in ring action due to such unfortunate circumstances, it is what it is. In life, you have to learn how to take the hand you’re dealt and make the most of it. And that’s exactly what I plan on doing. I will return better. As always, thanks for your support.

Awesome news!
Matt Hardy is one of the most charismatic individuals, if not the one with the best win/loss record, in the WWE today, in my opinion.
