Make-A-Wish and WWE, Batista November 29, 2007

TAMPA, Fla. — Daniel Gomez, 10, of Lutz, Fla., had his dream come true. The brave young man and six of his family members had the chance of a lifetime — to meet Batista at the SmackDown show at the St. Pete Times Forum. All of this was made possible through the Make-A-Wish Foundation and WWE’s community relations department.
The World Heavyweight Champion enjoys meeting the children, and knows how much happiness spending some time with these kids bring.
“I’ve done these before and I’ve learned to treat the kids the same as any other kids. They don’t want to be treated differently and I don’t look at them like that,? Batista said, with a smile on his face.
“It’s just cool to know that I’m capable of having a positive impact on someone like that.?
