Ken Kennedy What TO Expect, Own Stunts, and MORE
The MovieBlog.Ugo did an recent interview with Ken Kennedy in his recent movie; Behind Enemy Lines:
Colombia released on DVD 1/6/09. Here are a few highlights:
UGO: what can fans expect?
Mr. Kennedy: It’s an exciting action movie, tons of action throughout the entire thing and a great story too. The movie is about a group of navy seals that goes into Colombia on a routine recon mission and we come upon what appears to be peace talks between FARC and the Colombian National Army. It ends up being a swerve, a massacre takes place and we get caught up in the middle of it. A couple of our guys get killed, another gets captured, and they end up taking our vid packs and doctoring our footage much like CNN doctored that John Cena interview earlier this year. They make it look like it’s our fault. Joe Manganniello and I spend the rest of the movie trying to clear our names, rescue our buddy, avenge the deaths of our fallen brethren, and get the heck out of dodge.
UGO: Did you have any trouble performing the stunts?
Mr. Kennedy: I felt comfortable doing everything. There was this one scene you don’t even notice in the movie. It’s an overhead shot where we’re running through a field getting chased by some of the Colombians, and we’re running through this tall grass that’s up to our chests. You couldn’t see the peaks and valleys beneath the grass. So we’re running and tripping and I thought I was gonna blow my knee out. It was about 100 yards, we had to run there, they flipped it around, we ran it maybe 3 or four times, and it was just brutal carrying all that gear and sprinting. More on the interview>>>>
