John Cena is “Single” Ladies
With the word going around the internet like wild-fire, Cena propsed to his girl-friend Liz late last September. In late October Cena suffered an injury resulting from a torn pectoral muscle of the right side of his chest.
Just recently Cena was in Italy about an week ago to promote the Royal Rumble.
John Cena was interviewed by Sky Sport in Italy in Jan 23, 2008. His interview ran for about an hour, he is a small part of the interview that will clear up a lot of controversy surrounding his proposal to Liz:
Sky Sports in Italy sent in word that John Cena was in town to promote the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Cena taped a one hour interview with Luca and the folks at Sky that will air tomorrow at 6:30PM CET on Sky Sport 2. In the interview, Cena said that he’s hoping to be involved in some way shape or form at WrestleMania although a return to the ring in a wrestling role will not be happening until the next six months. Cena also talked about the rumored wedding which started after a website posted pictures of him proposing to his girlfriend. Cena said that while he and his girlfriend decided to get married sometime this year a few days before the injury, their relationship fell apart and he said that he’s single once again. As for his favorite match, the one against Triple H at WrestleMania 22 - where he got booed big time - is on the top of his list. Cena added that he watches every WWE TV show he can even while injured and announced that WWE will be back in Italy with the RAW brand in November for two shows.

We saw Cena and his girlfriend out to eat a couple weeks ago, and they looked very much together. One of my students saw him in a local restaurant this week, and Mr Cena said his girlfriend was home getting ready for the wedding! Doesn’t sound or look broken up to me!

It’s good that you get what you’re feeling off of your chest, Yani, but don’t you think that you may be just a bit overzealous in your comments regarding Liz?
First off you are coming off as fanatical when you use Caps Lock because when using all capital letters on the internet, you are indicating that you are shouting or are highly emotional.
Secondly, who are you to decide that she isn’t “pretty” enough for him? Sure she’s not a dead ringer for Cindy Crawford but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If he is attracted to her why are you making such a big deal out of your assessment of Liz’s looks?
Thirdly, I’ve not in any of my travels seen any definitive proof that Liz cheated on Mr. Cena, do you have it? That not withstanding you should ask yourself a big question when rationalizing whether she might or might not cheat on Mr. Cena. With Mr. Cena having a list of characteristics such as:
-A chiseled body
-Great overall personality
-Money in great abundance
-A good head on his shoulders
…why would Liz want to cheat on him and give up all of that plus the bright future that his career promises to set for them?
Lastly, I’d like to say… I’m new to this site and really like the set up. It is clean and well put together. Well done Mr. Scooter.

First of all welcome Chatt. Choo Choo ! Your post was great. Thanks. Alot of what you said were my thoughts exactly. Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinions regarding John & Liz or anything else but personally I felt “Yani” was extremely harsh on Liz. But that is nothing new for ppl, most have been extremely cruel to her with their comments since these proposal/engagement pics hit the net. I value honesty and appreciate everyone being that way but can’t agree with cruelty and calling her a dog face is cruel IMO. She’s human just like everyone else. Being John Cena’s fiancee doesn’t make her any less human. Regardless of what she has or has not done in the past or present, she is John’s choice and disrespecting her is disrespecting him IMO.

Everyone seems to be under this assumption that John should be with some airbrushed drop dead gorgeous size 0 model type girl. And I don’t see that being John’s thing unless he’s just looking for ONE THING and I’m sure that’s been the case many times within his line of work when he was single. IMO John is not that shallow. Looks are not everything to him. Liz may not be the prettiest girl he’s ever had, but who cares? The only person this should matter to is John! Obviously, he’s very attracted to her on many levels or they wouldn’t be getting married and have a 12 year history. Yes, they’ve been on/off again in a relationship for 12 years. That is a long time and I’m sure they know each other very very well by now. Something very special has to be there. Everyone is judging Liz on her looks and it’s horrible IMO. And no, I am not a member of the Liz fan club by far, but I think she deserves a fair chance.

Re: the rumor that Liz has cheated on John–it’s just that a RUMOR, where is everyone’s proof on this one. It has NEVER been proven. It was probably started by someone John jilted to go back to Liz or some female fan who couldn’t score with him or someone just plain jealous of her having him period. But it has never been proven that I’ve seen. There was also a rumor that she got married a few years ago to some bartender named Brett or Brent??? once again, proof anyone? That too proved to be false and so not true. AND if she cheats on John, then she deserves to be committed to a rubber room and a straight jacket b/c that would be just PLAIN INSANE !! (LOL) I apologize for being so long winded tonight but I am very passionate about John and the crappy things being said lately. Sorry if my posts have been too much or offended anyone, but Liz is John’s fiancee and there is so many lies going around about her JUST because she is with John Cena. Who said yani was “jealous of that trash” ? I only said maybe the cheat rumor stemmed from somone jealous and I certainly was not referring to anyone here. We’ve all stated our “OPINIONS” and are entitled to them-everyone included. No one has to agree or disagree with anyone, just state their opinions. Alot of ppl are claiming to know the TRUTH, and some may and some may not. And I’m NOT calling anyone a liar who says they know/don’t know the truth. The real truth can only be known by the 2 parties involved. I’m certainly not attacking anyone here personally. We all have our “reasons” for posting here. Obviously, we don’t have to agree on anything, but I hope we can all be adults and “debate” nicely. Bottom line- this is who John has chosen to marry for whatever reason(s). And I do AGREE that John is a sweet kind person. He’s the best! But after 12 years of being off/on and always going back to her whether she cheated or not, he obviously sees something no one else does. Love can make u blind–anyone heard of that one? OH and if I heard correctly on RAW last night, Thursday night on Larry King (CNN) is the wrestlemania themed show with Vince, John, Jericho and I think Floyd Mayweather—check 4 sure but I think that’s it. I personally have NOT watched anything on CNN after they “butchered” John’s comments about steriod use and would not issue a formal apology! That sucked big time! But I guess if John is going to be on a CNN program like Larry King, then I am “forced” to watch it. (LOL)

I think we can all agree that we LOVE John and want the best for him. He is such a super guy inside and outside, I don’t think we can disagree with that one. But can I ask u something? Why would u think that they’re not getting married? I’m referring to post#6 from cenafan dated 2/29/08. That is too recent for John to say that she’s home making wedding plans. I have “a source” close to the situation which says that everything is going on as planned even as far as the venue picked, wedding party picked and dress shopping going on. I’m just curious as to why u still feel this way. If you don’t want to tell me here, that’s fine. But it seems we’re all being open and sharing what we think/know. Have a good one. TTYL

Cenabrat, I am indeed a wrestling fan and have been off and on for the past 10-15 years. I also have been a Cena fan for quite a while as well. I enjoy his charisma and his ability and willingness to sell almost any move by any wrestler. I think that HBK is also a very fine wrestler however I really think that he is getting very stale as a fan favorite and should turn heel soon. He can play a superb heel. Other than that, there is only love for the heart breaker from me.

Scooter u r so right about the Make-A-Wish, what the WWE as a company has done is wonderful, but John getting ready to grant his 100th wish brings tears to my eyes. Just one more reason to add to the very long list of why he is a top guy in my book. He has been a “workhorse” for the company and I hate it when people disrespect him so. I know Vince has kinda pushed him hard and some ppl are sick of it, but that’s not John’n fault. He’s a company man and does whatever they ask of him. Not to repeat myself but he’s just WONDERFUL ! HBK has always been a fav of mine and I have met him lots of times over the years and he’s a great guy too. I do agree with you about his character needing to do a heel turn. I think we may be about to see it at WM24. I’m hoping. I love him heel or babyface so what does that make me? I think internet ppl call them “marks”??!! (lol) If so, then I’m one. And then when John came along HBK had to share my spotlight b/c right away I saw something in John. He just had the “IT” factor as they say. John and HBK can’t do much wrong in my book. I’ve never been one to put out big money for live events and such but I did go once to a PPV, but only because I had a group to carpool with. The rest of the time, I’m merely content to watch the events on television. I am really just what you would call a casual fan who has a more than casual interest… if that makes sense. lol
I can tell that the HBK/Cena match at WM 23 must have been a true dilemma for you. hehe.

CHATT. CHOO CHOO: What u said makes perfect sense-it’s cool–a fan is a fan–You sound way more knowledgable than the “casual fan”. Yes, WM23 was a “killer” for me! Remaining neutral proved to be quite “challenging” (lol) I’ve never in his career routed “against” Shawn ever–so it most certainly was a dilemma for this fan. That’s a very impressive list of favorites. The Hardy’s are great. I’m so sorry to hear about Jeff’s recent suspension. I was so hoping he finally had it together esp. with this big push he’s been getting. I know he had to be headed for a main event status by summer/fall. I’m very sad about that. Jeff is really a sweetheart. HHH & Y2J are good. I have a love/hate relationship w/HHH depending on who he’s wrestling. (lol) Taker is The Phenom, what else can u say? I’ve actually met alot of your favorites in person. I was very blessed at one time to have “serious connections” in the wwe. I went to alot of wrestling events for free. Yup, FREE ! House shows, Live events and PPV’s. I went to alot of WM events also. But I paid for them out of pocket b/c of hotel expenses and airfare and went as part of a travel pkg so I didn’t need event tickets. Like I said I was very very lucky and very very blessed. I was in the right place at the right time and met the right person(s). To say it was the time of my life is an understatement. Life lasting memories 4 sure. I got to meet alot of superstars and hang out with alot of great company ppl. But my life sorta had to go in a diff. direction and I don’t attend as many shows now. But I am still a die hard fan and passionate about it and about my favorites. I don’t get too many PPV’s either, but I did go to a friends for “no way out”. I HAD to see Cena back in action after the rumble (lol) I’m anxious to hear your predictions for WM24. TTYL

They eventually got back together when he hit it big and broke up again. Then they got back together 2+ yrs ago and she moved to his house in FL. He proposed 9/28,her b-day which is all the pics u see posted all over the place now. The shit hit the fan so to speak. They have been an on/off again couple since they met. She’s pretty much always been in the picture even when they weren’t “technically a couple”. The cheating part is still up for debate with lots of us. As well as he’s still getting married. We’ve agreed to debate nicely over this and continue to post any new info that comes to light. My sources who know ppl close to the situation say it’s never been proven she cheated and someone here says John said so himself. I don’t know. We’ll just leave that one alone 4 now. Also, I’ve been told the wedding is being planned even the venue has been picked, wedding party picked and so on. Again, IDK. “cenafan” saw john as recently as 2/29 and he stated liz is making wedding plans soooo we’ll just have to take it from there. Alot of information going around about this subject. (lol) We’ll just have to continue to share info b/c inquiring minds want to know.
But John deserves the best and I hope he finds peace and happiness in his personal life as well as his professional life. No one could deserve it more. Yes, his new movie is “12 Rounds” being shot in New Orleans as we speak. Shooting started 2/25 and John will be off the set on Mondays to do RAW. The subject matter is similiar to “The Marine”. He plays a detective whose g/f is kidnapped by a mob boss I believe. He sends the detective (Danny Baxter aka John) around the city on a wild chase for the girl. It’s got a pretty decent cast from what I hear and the guy doing it did DieHard2 and Nightmare on Elm St. 4 I think. But who cares? If John’s in it, then I’m there ! (lol) They’re really pushing to get it done fast so I don’t know if it will be out end of 2008 or early 2009. I also heard a “rumor” it may go directly to DVD ??? Don’t know–The Marine has done the best of all wwe films at box office and dvd sales. But rental is where it made the most $$$$$ so who knows. But it’ll be good, John’s in it. I don’t think he’s doing all his own stunts in this one though like he did the marine. This is understandable considering he just came back from injury and wouldn’t want to risk anything for his health.

NO ONE said they’d been engaged for the entire 12 years-you misread or misunderstood. They’ve known each other for 12 years and been an on/off again couple for 12 years! THAT IS A FACT ! And the engagement/wedding is still up for debate which is what we’ve been doing here nicely I might add. (lol) John has also not told the entire truth about their relationship over the years. THAT IS ALSO A FACT ! Some of us still believe they’re engaged and he’s denying it for privacy and some of us believe he’s single again. Everyone here is posting their OPINIONS. I should clarify the weight thing, not that it matters b/c it doesn’t, but I mean When/if I weighed 115, I’d still have some booty to me. Funny & crazy is good! No I don’t have MSN, sorry. But u need to email me. Not married, no kids, but engaged right now. We’re currently doing the long distance thingie. It can be quite “challenging” at times. He’s a good guy and a huge wwe fan. Thank goodness! He tries to be very very patient with me and my “wwe crushes” (john & hbk) (LOL) I know I test his patience alot of the times, but he knew how I was going in so….John is a great guy both as a performer and a man. Didn’t hear that radio interview-is it available out there to listen to? How long ago was that? He has such a great sense of humor and it can be very “demented” and “off the charts” at times, but I love that about him. He is what he is and what u see is what u get with him. Hopefully, this mystery will be solved soon and the truth will come out. Someone gave me this website, and I should say my opinion. I can understand one thing, *Liz is not a good choice for John* But it seems John has chosen her. What he doesn’t realize is that marry Liz is hurting everyone around him, including his own family. Why is a big question to many right now including his dad, I’m sure. Granted, it’s not our cross to bear, but I think we all here love and care and respect john for the decent upstanding guy that he is. We all want to see him happy. True fact indeed..believe when I say this, I have met John myself about 5 times, the last time I saw him was in Vegas for NO WAY OUT PPV.. yes I understand he’s a great guy no if’s about it..but what’s sad is; Liz is turning John into a mini-version of herself:( the last few times I met him, he’s been completely rude!? Novel was an exaggeration on my part… I’m just saying that the replies in this topic are huge.
No there is nothing wrong with being a detective nor is there anything wrong with hiring a P.I. to find out the truth on this highly debated issue. Please do not take offense to a comment that I made in jest because all it was intended to be was a light hearted statement to lighten the mood.
We are all entitled to do what we wish with the money that we earn. I was not attacking you with the beginning of my post I was just making an attempt at humor by ripping off a bit from the Wizard of Oz. “Lions and Tigers and Bears, OH MY!” is the original line and I just substituted that with “Detectives and PI’s and trips to New Orleans, OH MY!”. Boy when you have to explain the joke it does lose a lot of it’s humor.
But more on the subject of the JC engagement subject, I think it’s great that you’re going to send someone down to put this debate to rest… I just hope that everyone that reads the final truth can come to terms with it and accept it at face value. anyhow, I’m trying to process all her info. I don’t know if I even want to try. I don’t know whether to feel sorry for john or agree with some that he’s made his bed and now he has to lie in it !! And I think somone said something about liz may make him quit wrestling? I am not sure that could ever happen. IF he did, she’d leave him b/c it could not make this much money doing anything else ! So if he was mowing lawns for a living or driving a truck or working in gym, she’d be gone. And it’s so nice that alpo girl is having an easter party in john’s house over the weekend. Is john invited? (lol) Right now, I’d like to stuff a very very huge easter basket right up her ass ! (lol) Yani, girl, choo choo was just being funny, he wasn’t attacking you personally or your plans or your profession. I believe that. I picked up the humor right away.
