Funk’s Corner - New NKPWA World Champion - Osamu Nishimura
Two of my best students of professional wrestling competed against each other recently in Seoul South Korea. The match was:
Kurt Angle vs. Osamu Nishimura vs Riki Passan, former NKPWA champ from Korea) vs. .
My congratulations to Osamu Nishimura on winning the NKPWA World Championship Belt.
Kurt Angle is one of the most competitive wrestlers in the world. For Osamu Nishimura to win a championship belt in a match that Kurt Angle had an equal opportunity is quite an accomplishment
During the match, Riki Passan attempted a bodyslam on Kurt Angle, Kurt landed incorrectly and may have aggravated his neck injury. After the match, Angle apologized to the fans since he was scheduled to do an autograph signing. Angle said he would have to go to the hospital in America to examine his neck situation.
