Bound for Glory
Hello to all my friends. I know its been a while, and I know I have quite a bit to talk about. Even though I have learned how to go online, my first attempt at typing my own myspace entry was nothing short of disastorous, so therefore I am just dictating a few lines to my son before heading out on the road.
In the next few weeks I will be listing some cool career items on eBay, discussing my trip with the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and writing about my visit to an incredible place called Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg, PA. For now however, let me just say that I am really looking forward to Bound for Glory and taking part in the Fan Festival on Saturday. I am enjoying being part of TNA as I feel like I’m getting a chance to make a difference. I have mentioned before how much I loved doing my interview with Edge on my way out of WWE. Unfortunately, that was the first time in over a year that I had been given a microphone and a chance to make any kind of meaningful statement. Should my relationship with TNA extend past Bound for Glory- which I really think it will- I know I will get those opportunities much more often. And to quote the inimitable DDP, “That’s not a bad thing, its a good thing.” And to quote Rocky Balboa, “I’ll see yas later.”
Upcoming Mick Foley Events
In addition to my TNA schedule, I would like to keep all of you updated on autograph sessions and independent shows.
I will be in Chicoppe, MA tonight, October 10, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, refereeing the big main event of an indy show.
On November 1st, I’ll be in Chantilly, VA from 11:30- 2:30 at the Collectors Showcase of America. http://www.csashows.com/index.htm
On November 15, I will be refereeing a main event featuring my mentor, the great Terry Funk, somewhere in Minnesota or Wisconsin. Obviously, I’ll have more details soon.
