Cena getting an NEW Makeover, Eugene “Back to Basics”
Phillyburbs reports:
WWE have finally agreed with what the fans have been saying for the last two years. My good friends at PWInsider.com report that the WWE is looking into changing John Cena’s character. The boos have finally resonated and as Owen Hart said, “Enough is enough and it’s time for a change!”
John Cena has had several character changes since joining the WWE. Prior to the WWE, Cena wrestled as “The Prototype.” Since joining the WWE, Cena has transformed his hip hop character into a babyface thug. Babyface thugs just aren’t getting over the way they used to in the WWE. The connection between Cena and the crowd has never been as distant as it is now. John Cena to get a WWE makeover
Slam Wrestling reports:
-In Ohio Valley Wrestling, Nick Dinsmore was one of the primary trainers of future stars like John Cena, Brock Lesnar, and Shelton Benjamin. Now that his own featured run as Eugene has ended in WWE, he finds himself back helping wrestlers out.
As a child growing up in Lexington, Kentucky, Dinsmore was a big wrestling fan, especially enjoying the action moves and the crowd interaction. Now as a wiley veteran of the squared circle, he’s using opportunities — like an October 2 wrestling seminar in Barrie, Ontario — as a chance to pass some of his knowledge of the business to the next generation.
