-An occasionally tearful Hulk Hogan defended statements he made during conversations with his jailed son during the Larry King Live show Tuesday.

Hogan was heard on tapes released by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office suggesting John Graziano, who was seriously injured in Nick Bollea’s Aug. 26 car wreck, must have done something to bring it on himself. Hulk Hogan says he’s sorry for comments

-WWE’s next film will be a sequel to The Marine, Marine 2, who will be starring John Cena. The
original stand’s as WWE’s most successful film release yet, earning
$18.8 million at the box office and doing very well on DVD. The script
for the sequel has already been completed. The sequel may be a
straight-to-DVD release.

The lovely Torrie Wilson has left the WWE and will never wrestle again.

The federation posted a short message on their website yesterday saying: “WWE has come to terms on the release of Diva Torrie Wilson as of today.

WrestleMania® XXIV On Hi-Definition Blu-ray Disc
April 24, 2008
STAMFORD, Conn., April 24, 2008- WrestleMania XXIV will be the first Sports category title to ever be released on Blu-ray disc in the United States, Europe, Australia and Canada. The double disc set goes on sale Tuesday, May 20, 2008, the same day as a three-disc DVD version. “It’s natural that WrestleMania 24, the biggest sports entertainment event of the year, is not only the first WWE® title but the first Sports title to be released on Blu-ray� says Joel Satin, VP WWE Home Entertainment and Books. “Blu-ray disc will further demonstrate our commitment to bring WWE’s high-definition content to fans around the world through our network of home video distributors and licensing partners.�

This Blu-ray two disc release includes the entire four hour WrestleMania XXIV event in Orlando, Fla., and the complete 2008 Hall of Fame induction ceremony, plus the never-before-televised 24-man Battle Royal. Authoring of the double disc set takes advantage of the new Blu-ray technology, offering content in HDMV (High Definition Movie Mode), which has exciting new features including improved navigational and menu features, graphics and animation.

Distribution will be handled through a variety of vendors including Genius Products for the United States, Clearvision Ltd. for the UK/Europe, Koch Entertainment Canada and Shock for Australia, all of which are current WWE home video distribution and licensing partners. “Much like sports programming has driven high definition television sales, we believe that sports content will thrive in Blu-ray,” said Mitch Budin, EVP and General Manager, Genius Products. “As the leading sports brand, WWE is the best fit to lead the sports segment into Blu-ray.”

Q-Hey J.R. First of all, proud to say you’re my favorite announcer, always have been. I would like to ask 3 questions.
1. What’s the chance of Kennedy getting gold around his waist, I think he is a great talent and excellent on the mic. He deserves the title, as the same three guys sharing it gets old.
2. Same question for Finlay. WCW didn’t use the man to his full potential. He’s tough, fun to watch, and just plain mean at times.
3. Same old question as everyone else asks….I realize we’ll probably never see Savage in the WWE, but why can’t he be in the Hall of Fame, just a quick ceremony as the other superstars get to acknowledge the man’s great presence in wrestling history and to satisfy the fans, the ones who loved him. I realize the man is a nutjob, but he is still deserving. Thanks.
A-I see Kennedy as a title holder in the future. His career path is still being developed, but he has a noticeable upside. Finlay isamongst the last of a dying breed. A man’s man who can wrestle with anyone and provide a great match. Titles for Finlay? Why not? I don’t address Savage questions anylonger as we have worn that one out…smooth out. The Variety has got an article on the WWE where wretslers are crossing over into the acting gendre. When is wrestling the outcome is already decided, same as in Hollywood. The recent movie in production starring John Cena in ‘12 Rounds’ has already starting filming.

WWE has decided to release one film per year with a budget of $20 million or less and up to four movies going to directly to dvd with a budget of $5 million.

WWE is now realizing the age limit is between 12-24 years of age. This being noticed, WWE will now focus on a slate of PG-13 movies. For more on the article, click here.

Just on another note; one McMahon did not want his wrestlers to be turned into actors, This McMahon is Vince’s dad himself, Vincent K. McMahon. At one point during his reign on the WWE, Vincent K.
