Friday, February 22nd, 2008

undertaker_15-0.jpg

He has been the biggest Superstar on sports entertainment’s grandest stage, amassing a record unlikely to be equaled any time soon. Undertaker has entered the ring 15 times at WrestleMania and has always emerged victorious, defeating some of professional wrestling’s biggest stars including Triple H, Batista, Kane, Randy Orton, Diesel, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Ric Flair, and more! Re-live this amazing streak with Undertaker 15-0, which includes highlights of all 15 matches on the one DVD for the first time with exclusive footage on how each confrontation developed.

As of February 2008, the plan for Wrestlemania XXIV is to match up The Undertaker with World Heavyweight champion Edge, in a contest that will be billed as a battle of two combatants who have never been defeated at Wrestlemania.

Wrestlemania, of course, is the biggest WWE event of the year, and The Undertaker has competed in 15 so far in his career, and thus the title of this DVD, 15-0.

The Undertaker (real name Mark Calaway) first competed at Wrestlemania in 1991, when he defeated WWE legend Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka. Since then, he has missed only two Wrestlemanias, both through injury, and in 2007, he won the World Heavyweight Title from Batista, in what was a tremendous match considering its prior expectations.

Here is the list of matches :

Hello to all of you guys and gals! Well, here’s one of the things IMattandJeff.jpg hinted at a while back that would be coming out very soon.. A brand new WWE-produced DVD, “Twist of Fate-The Matt and Jeff Hardy Story”-it is awesome! It’s a two-disc compilation that will cover our past as well as EVERYTHING that has gone down with Jeff and I since “Leap Of Faith” was produced. It’s extremely candid and honest, and a must have for any true wrestling fan! It’s also gonna have a ton of matches and extras on it! Check it out here..

“Twist of Fate-The Matt and Jeff Hardy Story”

Get ready, cause in just a few weeks you’ll be able to watch the best documentary ever produced about Jeff and I! I can’t wait for you to see it! Until then cyberamigos!

UPDATE-I had a chance to watch both DVDs last night for the first time. The documentaries on myself and Jeff are both F*CKING AWESOME! You will not be disappointed when you finally get to watch The Matt Story and The Jeff Story! I graciously thank all the wonderful people at the WWE who worked so hard to put this fantastic project together. I can’t do the DVDs justice using only words. I am SOOO psyched for you guys and gals to view this wonderful treasure.

And by the way, Happy Valentine’s Day to each and every one of ya!

UPDATE 2

Now that I’ve had the chance to watch both DVDs a few times-here’s more info for you guys and gals. There is one DVD dedicated to me. It cover all my roads traveled in the WWE, as well as the early Hardy Boyz days to catch everyone up to speed. It covers splitting with Jeff, Version One, Mattitude, The Edge-Lita-Matt controversy, the MVP-Matt saga, and a bunch, bunch more. It’s got several awesome extras and Easter Eggs on in. The Core Group of Matt, Jeff, Shane, and Shannon also have a couple of segments on the disc. Plus, there’s several of my greatest matches. Jeff has a disc dedicated to him as well. It covers Jeff’s very memorable ordeals with Triple H and the Undertaker, as well as those matches. The DVD also goes into great detail about Jeff leaving and then returning to the WWE. It also includes several exclusive Jeff extras and Easter Eggs, as well as several of Jeff’s greatest matches. It is BY FAR the best piece ever done on Matt and Jeff Hardy! You will absolutely love these DVDs!

JR speaks on ‘The Legacy of Stone Cold’

While our fans must wait until Feb. 12 to get their hands on a copy of The Legacy of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Jim Ross tells WWE.com why the DVD is an essential for every fan’s collection.

“This DVD follows ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin’s career from his days in World Class Championship Wrestling, to WCW, to ECW, to WWE. Each match and interview were personally endorsed by Stone Cold himself to be a part of this must-have DVD,” the Raw announcer explained.

“Every minute of this three-disc set is of utmost, personal importance to [Stone Cold,] the most intense competitor many sports-entertainment aficionados have ever seen,” J.R. added. “When viewing this DVD, one can take a peek inside the mind of the Texas Rattlesnake that few have ever had the opportunity to do.”

According to the WWE Hall of Fame announcer – whom Austin himself inducted back in April 2007 – Stone Cold’s work ethic and pride were something our fans, no matter their ethnicity or nationality, could relate to.

Making this collection even more special is that it has been given the personal stamp of approval from a ring icon who our fans – and especially Austin’s enemies – know can be notoriously difficult to please.

“Austin fans can see what matches, which moments and what opponents were personally valued by Stone Cold himself. Not one minute of this DVD would have been included if Stone Cold did not think they were significant moments in his Hall of Fame career.”

Shawn Michaels DVD, My thoughts- ” Major Screwjob”

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

Today Shawn Michaels dvd: Heartbreak and Triumph is available for purchase. But for some reason I have a little DAMN problem about this. A couple of weeks ago WWE.com had an interview with Bret “Hitman” Hart about the Montreal Screwjob. Bret poured out what I believe his heart to the wrestling fans. WWE put up what if… this never happened ( trying to say I am sorry Bret). Yeah right just a kick in the face if you ask me.

Well last night on Raw, I saw the add for the Michaels’ dvd and low and behold the Montreal Screwjob came up in bold letters on the tv screen. Well for Vince if you put 1+1 does equal to 3 don’t it. Vince always has something up his sleeve even if it means trying to make a “dis-honest” buck.

Did the WWE have a heart felt warmth to Bret Hart or was it WWE’s way of hitting the Montreal Screwjob up for Michaels new dvd that came out ….just for a promotinal deal.
