How Jeremy Piven Got To Be Raw’s Next Host
Wednesday, July 29th, 2009PWInisder reports Jeremy Piven was on this morning with Jorge Sedano on 790 the Ticket in Miami. When asked how he got involved with WWE he said he’s good friends with Triple H. When asked what his relationship with Triple H was Piven said “I’m his workout partner” then Piven asked, “Why do people always laugh when I say that?”
Piven was on to promote his movie “The Goods” so that was the only non “Goods” question Sedano could get in there. The interview will be posted on 790theticket.com later today.

Randy Orton ran, hit double suplex on Show, Cena and Hunter hit their finishers. Then we have a birthday celebration for Hunter with Vince McMahon and crew. Hunter tried to escape but Vince threatened to sing if he didn’t return. Someone got him with the cake before he came back out. He said thanks, then everyone around the ring tossed pastries on Hunter. Then Batista came out, and Vince and Show held Hunter for Dave to pie Hunter in the face, but he ducked and Show got it. Vince came back to pie Big Show, and they tossed cake to.

Shaq Arrives, Explains Why Is He Hosting Raw?? Wrestling Tonight?

Shaq told The Washington Post on why he is hosting Monday Night Raw,
“Well, one, I’m a fan,” O’Neal said. “My kids are fans. Me and Shane McMahon have been friends for a long time, so Vince called me and he asked me would I like to host. I asked my kids if they wanted me to host, they said they wanted me to host, so actually I’m just doing my fatherly societal fan duties.”

-I will try my best to put into words just how much returning to Philadelphia as ECW Champion means to me. I was born and raised in New York, but Tommy Dreamer’s career was born in Philly. I remember the first time trying to find the ECW Arena driving around Philly for about an hour lost with Taz. We saw the old Vet,the Rocky Statue, the Spectrum. Where the hell was this ECW Arena it had to be some huge building was are thoughts. Well after asking a police officer he pointed out that the bingo hall next to Forman mills store,may be it.
