-WWE developmental wrestlers from OVW are expected to report to FCW in Tampa by the end of the first week in March. WWE provided talent with money to help cover the cost of moving and finding a new place to live.

WWE® To Cease Affiliation With Ohio Valley Wrestling

World Wrestling Entertainment® announced today that Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) will no longer be affiliated with World Wrestling Entertainment as an official developmental territory, making Florida Championship Wrestling™ (FCW™) WWE’s official development training facility for talent around the globe.

“Ohio Valley Wrestling has been a tremendous partner with World Wrestling Entertainment through the years, and we thank them for their work in developing many of today’s WWE Superstars,�? said John Laurinaitis, Senior Vice President of Talent Relations. “We look forward to Florida Championship Wrestling playing host to the next generation of WWE Superstars recruited from around the world.�?

Last November, WWE announced the formation of Florida Championship Wrestling, a new training center for future WWE Superstars. The facility has four wrestling rings and approximately 35 contracted athletes, with plans to increase that number to more than 70 in the near future. The facility is now fully operational, as WWE undertook large-scale renovations to FCW in order to accommodate its training needs. The finished training facility is more than 10,000 square feet, including an arena that will seat nearly 300 fans. The new training facility will also host a weekly show in front of a live audience, to be broadcast for regional television.

FCW is owned and operated by Steve Keirn, a former professional wrestler and producer for WWE. WWE trainer Tom Prichard oversees all talent training at the facility.

OVW No More

WWE severs all ties with Ohio Valley wrestling. Here are the details:

In a meeting that was held today with contracted developmental talent. WWE’s John Laurinaitis and Ty Baily made the announcement that all of the contracted wrestlers training at OVW there would be heading to Florida Championship Wrestling - which is now WWE’s only developmental territory.

Laurinaitis told the talents that WWE wanted to keep all their talents in one place. This huge move would make up and coming talents of aspiring superstars a better chance to learn from former stars who reside in close prximity to the Florida Championship Wrestling.

Talents was told that there will be no releases stemming from OVW shutting down and that they will all be relocated to Tampa after finishing a few more weeks in OVW.

Talents was told the trainers in FCW would be Tom Prichard, Steve Keirn, aka WWE star Billy Kidman.

FCW is slated to run its first official TV taping later this month and there have been plans in place to run a regular schedule of live events in Florida.

The move had been suspected for some time as the amount of contracted talents working in Louisville had dwindled greatly in the last year and morale in OVW overall had fallen.

Over the years, OVW has groomed a number of WWE’s biggest stars, including Batista, Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton and John Cena.

As of right now plans for Paul Wight, aka “The Big Show” should be back in a WWE ring by the end of the month.

For him returning at the Royal Rumble is a no go, cause he would not be winning it. It would make Wight look like just one of the guys in the 30 rumble.

Chett “The Jet”
It was announced this afternoon that a developmental wrestler by the name of Neil Bzibziak has been suspended for violations of the WWE Wellness Policy. Bzibziak works under the name “Chett The Jet.” Bzibziak was an OVW mainstay until he was moved to Florida Championship Wrestling sometime last year.

WWE releases legendary tag team wrestler of the “Rock-n-Roll Express”, Robert Gibson from his contract. Gibson has been training our future superstars of tomorrow down in WWE’s Ohio Valley Wrestling.

Gibson was let go this Saturday Morning.

News still brewing but on the street Teddy Hart was released from his developmental contract with the WWE. Hart was suppose to be the link to the New Hart Foundation.The New Hart Foundation was to join WWE later in the fall, thus the angle being scrapped.

Teddy was currently wrestling for OVW and for the FCW at the time of his departue.

Teddy is the son of Georgia Hart who married B.J. Annis, since the name Ted Annis.

The highly talked about New Hart Foundation are being advertised locally for the SmackDown/ECW taping in Bakersfield, California on November 6th.

Teddy Hart (Bret Hart’s nephew), Nattie Neidhart (Jim Neidhart’s daughter), Harry Smith (Davey Boy Smith’s son), the new Hart Foundation. Currently wrestling in Florida’s Championship wrestling.

There have been plans on bringing the new Hart Foundation to the roster dating back to last year’s 10th Survivor Series anniversary of the Montreal Screwjob.

Henry:Trained by his father Davey Boy Smith “The British Bulldog” ( Davey married Stu and Helen Hart’s youngest daughter Diana)and uncle Bruce Hart, Bruce is second son to wrestling legend Stu Hart.

Nattie:The daughter of wrestler Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart who married Ellie Hart oldest daughter of Helen and wrestling legend Stu Hart.

Teddy:. His mother is Georgia Hart (second oldest daughter of Stu and Helen Hart) ,and his father is B.J. Annis. He is the grandson of Stu Hart, and the nephew of Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Bruce Hart, Jim Neidhart and Davey Boy Smith.

Lots of action going on with the “New Hart Foundation” that WWE is developing on in Ohio Valley Wrestling. Let’s hope these 2men and one woman live up to legendary wrestling family.

On July 14, 2007 OVW have an 30 Man Battle Over-The-Top-Rope Rumble Match. Winner of this match would face WWE Champ John Cena. Jerry ” The King ” Lawler wouldn’t miss this event to see ANOTHER King, Kenny Bolin and shut him up for good. This event will be live in SIX FLAGS KENTUCKY KINGDOM - LOUISVILLE, KY - Fri. July 27.
