Striker NOT At No Mercy, Another Dibiase On The RUN, Jericho No Mercy Injury
Monday, October 6th, 2008-WrestlingObserver Reports: Matt Striker missed last night’s PPV, No Mercy, was because his father passed away.
-Brett DiBiase, the 20-year-old son of Ted DiBiase Sr., brother of current WWE World Tag Team Champion Ted DiBiase Jr., is now wrestling with WWE’s Florida Championship Wrestling developmental territory. Brett seems to be grasping his in ring abilities, as you might say the ropes..lol
-Chris Jericho lost an tooth during his ladder match with Shawn Michaels. During the match, half way through, you can see that Jericho lost an tooth on the left side of his mouth.

World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match
This fued with Jericho and HBK will end tonight at this pay per view. As per Jericho saying at the Sun’s UK interview. HBK has something to say to Chris Jericho and I don’t think he will like it. With Jericho slapping his wife , Rebecca, HBK has all means to take “eye for an eye”. There will be lots of ladders and lots of blood…My predict, Jericho will end out coming outta this match on a stretcher.

WWE Champion Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy
Triple H has been the WWE Champion for some time now and I don’t see anyone in the future at this point winning the title except Hardy. Hardy for what??, the second time, is going for an major title in the WWE. This is going to be an great match up, but I believe Jeff will pull it out and win become the new WWE Champion.
Mark Henry is going to have yet another shot at the covented ECW Title. Matt is right now at one of his highest point in his wreswtling career as ECW Champ. Don’t get me wrong, but I see Matt retaining the belt and later on doen the road (hopefully) having Matt and Jeff battle out..as Brother of Champions.
This battle has been going on for some time now. This is the third match between these two superstars and hoping at No Mercy it is going to end. With CM punk being stripped from his match-up at the last pay per view, Unforgiven and Jericho coming out as the New World Hevyweight Champ. CM Punk might return for some revenge. My thought on this match-up. CM Punk need to get involved to get another shot at his title he was stripped from.
Big Show pretty much acting as the enforcer for Vicki Guererro against The Phenom. This match-up will be hard for the Undertaker since that his needs are not holding up. I see that Big Show might be getting th eupper hand and maybe even pulling off the win, BUT!!! With Edge in hiatus you never know he might return at this event.
Candice Michelle is being pushed not for in-ring skills, not for her looks, but WWE feels her time in the wrestling business is limited. On an point of view here, I think Candice will pull off the win and Take Beth’s WWE Woamns Championship title away. We all know that The Glamazon is well, have the strength to over come her, but I think Santino will interfere and prevent her from retaining the title.
This storyline of Kane wins, Mysterio has to un-mask is great. But there is one small problem with this. I believe it will not end at No Mercy. Kane will not win, but down the road yet another match is in the midst. Mysterio is one hell of a talent that deserves all the damn credit he can in the WWE, especially tangling with the like of The Big Red Monster, Kane. Mysterio will pull off the win or there will be a DQ.
HBK/Jericho Fued Ends, Jericho Thinks for himself
Monday, September 29th, 2008
The Sun’s UK has wriiten an article on the Chris Jericho/ Shawn Michaels fued. By the apparent title of the article “Jericho: It ends at No Mercy”, the fued will come to a close at WWE’s next pay per view, No Mercy.
Jericho has warned fans not to expect a classic bout. The final confrontation will take place in an ladder match. Jericho takes advantage of the WWE creative team and makes up his own ideas on the spot. Here what Jericho says:
“That comes with years of experience and years of ideas.
“Nobody ever gives me a piece of paper and tells me to say what’s on it. That is not how it works.
“The best characters are extensions of your own personality — and nobody knows what I would say in the ring better than I do.
“Sometimes they’ll give ideas of what they want me to say and I have to make it mine.”
WWE…No Mercy 2008…. Card Update
Monday, September 22nd, 2008Raw Results 9-22-08…. 800th Edition..New Matches for No Mercy 2008
Monday, September 22nd, 2008-Shane McMahon ( during the night Shane made the comment that he is 4th generation in the wrestlimg business) made a surprise appearance, overruling General Manager Mike Adamle’s decision to suspend CM Punk for slapping Randy Orton, and violating the GM’s mandate against anyone putting their hands on the Legend Killer. Shane O’Mac also set the night’s opening match: CM Punk vs. World Tag Team Champion Cody Rhodes, as well as the main event: World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho & JBL vs. Shawn Michaels & Batista.
- CM Punk defeated World Tag Team Champion Cody Rhodes, whose allies, fellow World Tag Team Champion Ted DiBiase and Manu, rushed to the ring to assault Punk after the match. Kofi Kingston arrived to aide the Straightedge Superstar, however, evening the odds and clearing the ring of the second-generation athletes.
-After Kane requested to face Rey Mysterio, Adamle set a match between the two for No Mercy.
-Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella defeated Deuce (finally debut since the WWE draft)
-Kane defeated Evan Bourne, and continued to attack the high-flyer even after the bell. Rey Mysterio ran down to help “Air” Bourne, but not even the Master of the 619 could stop the rampaging Big Red Monster.
-Kelly Kelly defeated Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix in a non-title match when a distraction from The Glamazon’s beau, Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella backfired. “Glamarella” attempted to brutalize Kelly after the match, but Batista interrupted to defend the Diva, spearing Santino. During this match, Michael Cole made the comment to Jerry “The King” Lawler,”in all my 15 plus years on Raw, Have you ever seen an diva as powerful as The Glamazon, Beth Phoenix?” Just to let you know, in My opinion..”Chyna: ‘The Ninth Wonder of the World’” she is best known for her career with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) from 1997 to 2001..think Michael better get his facts straight or stop listening to the head-set, via Vince McMahon.
-As their WWE.com feud spilled over into the ring, The Miz & John Morrison defeated Cryme Tyme. During this match, Michael Cole made the comment that Shad is a former bodyguard of Mike Tyson.
-Just before the main event, Lilian Garcia announced that by order of Mike Adamle, Lance Cade will join the team of World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho & JBL as they take on Batista & Shawn Michaels.
-World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho, JBL & Lance Cade defeated Shawn Michaels & Batista when Cade pinned HBK.

Top Match at No Mercy 2008, Nash Talks Career and More
Friday, September 12th, 2008-TORONTO — Big Sexy, Diesel, Nash, or just plain Kevin; the former world champion and current TNA star sat down with SLAM! Wrestling to discuss his past, present, and future.
In Toronto to promote this Sunday’s TNA pay-per-view, No Surrender, in nearby Oshawa, Ontario, Kevin Nash was extremely accommodating to any and all questions.
Mr. Nash pulled no punches and was quite honest in describing how difficult it is going from a headliner to his current supporting role. “It’s hard after being featured for so long to not being featured,” he said. “When you’ve slowed down and you’re not as athletic and as young as you once were, you don’t see it. People see it, but you don’t see it … I can’t watch myself sometimes.” Kevin Nash speaks his mind
WWE No Mercy 2008 Theme Song
Wednesday, September 10th, 2008Metallica is helping the WWE Universe prepare for No Mercy with their new song “All Nightmare Long,” as it will serve as the theme for the Oct. 5 pay-per-view.
The song comes from Death Magnetic, the band’s first album of fresh material in five years. Metallica has already enjoyed enormous success with singles from their latest release, “The Day That Never Comes,” “My Apocalypse,” and “Cyanide.” Death Magnetic becomes available for sale and download on iTunes this Friday (order from iTunes).

First Match for No Mercy 2008… Announced
Tuesday, September 9th, 2008When Beth Phoenix caused Candice Michelle to break her clavicle in October 2007, the then-Women’s Champion admitted the injury and being unable to compete took her to a “really dark place.”
Now, it’s the Candy-coated Diva’s opportunity to once again shed some bright light on her career when she battles Phoenix for the Women’s Championship at No Mercy, the very show at which The Glamazon won her first title over Candice.
Since her recent comeback, a determined Candice has already fired a shot across the bow of the S.S. Glamazon by pinning her in a Six-Diva Tag Match. Pinning Phoenix in a tag match, however, is hardly the same as tackling her one-on-one.
To quench her thirst for revenge after months on the shelf, the Candy-coated Diva will have to counter The Glamazon’s overwhelming size and strength advantage with a combination of both quickness and agility.
And while revenge is a dish best served cold, Beth may be on too much of a hot streak to oblige. Ever since The Glamazon captured the title from Mickie James at SummerSlam, she has been dominating both her opponents and the opponents of her boyfriend, Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella.
Will Candice’s renewed sense of determination and desire for revenge be enough to overcome the dominating force that is The Glamazon?
Regardless of the outcome, one thing is certain, there will be No Mercy. Catch the event live, only on pay-per-view.
Just Released…WWE No Mercy 2008 Poster
Saturday, August 23rd, 2008No Jericho at No Mercy, more
Monday, October 8th, 2007A report coming from the Wrestling Observer Vince thought it was too early to had Jericho make his return debut. Knowing Vince McMahon has wants to make sure that everyone in gods green earth is watching for Chris Jericho’s return, hell there would be any money in it for him if it not be.
Reports also states his likely return for Raw will be held off until Cyber Sunday’s pay per view, just 3 weeks away.
Hoping to see the like of Chris Jericho’s return, WWE fans see yet another ecryptic message “REV_22_12″.
Could this be a passage from the Bible. here is a script from the King James Bible 22:12,
“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be”.
Could this be a sign from the heavens above? Or a gimmick to get the WWE fans wondering on who the hell it is going to be??
No Mercy Results
Monday, October 8th, 2007Wow - this one didn’t turn out like I thought it would.
Vince started things off explaining about Cena, and saying that he declaired Randy Orton the new WWE champ. He told Orton that he was going to have to defend the title tonight. Triple H comes out and says that he’s going to fight for the title. And we’re off!
Match #1: Randy Orton VS HHH
for the WWE Championship
Winner: HHH! HHH is now an 11 time champion!
Match #2: Mr. Kennedy & Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch VS Jeff Hardy, Paul London & Brian Kendrick
Hardy, London and Kendrick! I must be dreaming! The match was way too short for me, but the result was:
Winner: Mr. Kennedy & Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch
Match #3: CM Punk VS Big Daddy V
Winner: CM Punk
Match #4: HHH VS Umaga
for the WWE title
Winner: HHH! HHH retains the title.
Match #5: Rey Mysterio VS Finlay
Winner: No Contest
Match #6: Beth Phoenix VS Candice Michelle
Winner: Beth Phoenix - new Women’s Champ
Match #7: Batista VS The Great Khali
Winner: Batista - still World Heavyweight Champ
Match #8: HHH VS Randy Orton (last man standing)
Winner: Randy Orton!
So the belt went up THREE times and ended up being won by Orton! Kind of a shocker!
What did you think of the PPV?
