Tampa, Florida — The son of former pro wrestler Hulk Hogan says he is hosting a three-day charity event.

The event is being held in conjunction with Confidential Records, where Nick Hogan is currently working in their aritsts and repertoire department. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the Boys & Girls Club, the John & John Foundation and other local charities.

The fundraiser is being held at Tijuana Iguana Grill near Raymond James Stadium, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Several music artists, including DJ Quik and The Twinz are scheduled to perform.

Hogan, whose real name is Nick Bollea, is trying to rebuild his life after serving more than 150 days behind bars for his involvement in a Clearwater car accident last year that seriously injured his friend John Graziano.

PWInsider reports:

-According to two sources, a yellow Mustang drove up to the parking lot at Florida Championship Wrestling’s headquarters in Tampa at 6:00 p.m. just before last night’s scheduled show. The car pulled up near the steps to the arena where the fans hang out and the driver rolled down the window to reveal himself as Hulk Hogan.

Hogan told the fans to “find someone in there for him to wrestle” and that he would be back. Hogan drove off and never came back.

The one thing I wanted for Christmas was to be with my family! So I have been in Louisiana all week catching up, watching movies, and laughing! The best feeling is to be surrounded with people who share your memories even though they remember the embarrassing stories of you… such as the time…I was a freshman in high school and accidently dropped my lunch tray all over the senior captain of the football team. Aghhhh!!!!!

You have to love family for reliving those moments with you!

Sad to see Christmas day almost over but my birthday is in a few days and then it will be New Year’s Eve! 3 exciting days in one week! I love December!

Over the past 2 days I’ve dedicated several hours “8 or 9″ to composing a very thorough response, to the recent Sports Illustrated review of “The Wrestler” by Adam Duerson. I feel the portrayal of me in the review was misleading, unfair and merited a detailed response. I wont interfere with anyone’s holiday but I will be posting my response on December 26. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and a Memorable Kwanzaa to all my friends.

TMZ REPORTS:

In this time of financial ruin, Hulk Hogan claims his estranged wife is blowing cash on the dumbest stuff ever — example: Linda allegedly threw down $4,000 for a photo shoot with her dog.

Hulk unloaded outside of Pinellas County Court yesterday — where Linda was asking for another $400,000 in attorney fees. The court granted her the cash — but after going over her expenditures, they put it in a separate account so she couldn’t blow it on more dumb stuff.

But Hogan and his attorney, David R. Houston, were kind enough to list a bunch of ridiculous things they claim Linda has wasted dough on … and trust us, it’s stupid.

JR’s take on the slammy’s and Announcer of the year winner: I am most interested to see how the wrestling Slammy’s are distributed Monday night and to see who gets a boo-boo face if they don’t win. Good grief, it’s just an award that doesn’t carry the credibility of headlining a PPV and especially year to date earnings. I’m all for Matt Striker winning the announcer of the year award which would accelerate Tazz’ dislike toward the rookie broadcaster. It makes Tuesdays more interesting hearing those two debate on occasion

-Kosolov improving in-ring skills: Reports indicate that Vladimir Kozlov is rapidly improving with his work at WWE live events. Yes, there is still work to be done with this athlete but he is making positive strides which is what one looks for.

-Jack Swagger steadly growing:Jack Swagger is also getting good, road reviews and is so athletically gifted that when he finally “gets it” Swagger is going to be a welcome addition to Monday or Friday’s roster in my view. No program can teach athleticism and natural timing and Swagger has them both. Swagger and Chicago Bear Dusty Dvorchek spent plenty of time eating the Mrs. cooking back in their college days at OU. -The 20 yr. old boyfriend of Linda Hogan, Charlie Hill has filed an injunction of protection against Hulk Hogan. The petition was filed at 4:56 p.m. last Thursday. A judge denied it that day. Coverage by TMZ and TampaBay.com.

-PWInsider reports: Gail Kim will be on the Smackdown roster and she could debut as soon as on tonight’s Smackdown taping.

-Highspots.com is promoting Reid Flair’s wrestling debut. The event will take place on December 6th in Charlotte, NC. Not only is Reid teaming up with his brother Dave. The Nature Boy, Ric Flair will be in their corner going against The Nasty Boys (managed by Jimmy Hart). With even more explosion to the match the special guest referee is going ot be “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan.

Eric Bischoff has responded to WWE Letter on Cease and Desist on Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake’s name on his website.

Prior to receiving the letter, I got a call from Brian Knobs who informed me that Vince’s surrogate Johnny Ace called Brian, who hasn’t worked for WWE in a decade, and threatened him not to go near any WWE talent or events as no one who is associated with CCW will ever work for WWE again. Then I found out that Jimmy Hart, one of the hardest working and loyal people I have ever met, was told he was no longer going to be used for WWE promotions because of his association with CCW, even though he asked for and received permission to do our show!
