Ted Dibiase Jr. has posted on update on his personal webiste. Ted says that Bret Hart came down and visited the talents:

A Visit from a Legend

Hey guys, it is me!

I received an email which really made a point from somebody everybody on the site knows… but anyways, this past week, a true hero of mine, Bret Hart, came by FCW and was talking to us. It was historical in my mind. I mean, the last time I saw Bret was three years ago when I was about to leave for the WWE, he was in the US. and I went to him with Mike (my bro) and talked to him about my decisions. Anyways, this past week, I wish you guys were there…it was an inspirationial night for me, and the entire FCW roster I believe. He made a great speech about us following our dreams, and doing good at it. He is a true hero, and in my mind, one of the greatest.

Also, we will be televising FCW in a matter of months, we have to get some construction done but it will be soon.

I hope all of you have had a great week and have a great weekend. God Bless

Stone Cold Interview, Bret’s Book Release Date in US

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

-If you’re a WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) fan, the name will surely bring a string of images to your mind. Like a 6’2? huge, muscular bodybuilder. Doing his now-famous move, the Stone Cold Stunner.

Then guzzling beer, slamming two cans together, and ending his act by pouring beer over his face. Initially termed the ‘Ringmaster’, Steve Austin then came to be known as ‘Stone Cold Steve Austin’. This six-time WWE champion challenged most of the WWE greats, from Ric Flair to his sworn enemy Bret Hart to The Rock, and is the only man in WWE history to win the Royal Rumble Championship thrice! I want to act in a Bollywood film: Austin

Bret Hart..Thinking with his Heart?

Friday, April 11th, 2008

owen_wbret.jpg

Bret Hart’s book has been released in Canada for a few months, but it has yet to hit the stores in the United States or in the UK. While we’re unsure of when, or if the book will be released in the United States, it has been announced that My Life in the Cartoon World of Wrestling will be released in the UK very soon.

In preperation for the release, Bret sat down with Rob McNichol of The UK Sun for an interview. Here are a few snippits:

Hi Bret, thanks for taking the time out to talk to us. What’s been the response to your book so far?

I still haven’t heard a whole lot from people in my family. Some of my nieces and nephews, some of the younger generation of the Hart kids have all really liked it, but some of my brothers and sisters have yet to get back to me. I don’t know, maybe they are just slow readers!

The book, at times, can maybe be a little overwhelming. I think it’s hard for them to read it.

They are learning a lot about me and about how I saw the family that they didn’t know before.

Yes, I believe it was quite a long-term undertaking. When did you first start putting it together?

I actually started the book, believe it or not, about a month before my brother Owen died. I started to write then. I kind of stuck with that and kept going. It seemed like everything got harder and harder. So many tragedies and so many things were to come that all happened one after another within a few years, including my stroke.

It’s now coming up to a year from the tragedy involving Chris Benoit. What are your feelings about it now? Do you lay any blame at anyone’s doorstep, be it Chris, the WWE, or wrestling in general?

Maybe because I’m so close to it, but I do feel there’s a link to multiple concussion injuries. Anyone who is dropped on the top of his head, off the top turnbuckle, diving off the top rope every night for several years…

There’s a strong argument that the Chris Benoit that went off and killed his family that day was totally out of control. He’d lost his mind. I want to believe that. I don’t think you can blame WWE any more than you can blame the post office when postal workers go crazy. It just happens, people go crazy, people do crazy things. It just happened to be a wrestler, that’s all.

I don’t think it was steroids.

Bret Hart - My Life in the Cartoon World of Wrestling - Partial Review - Pt. 1

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

hitman-book-cover-large.jpg

This is Scooter’s wife, Randi - I’m the one reading and doing the review on Bret Hart’s autobiography. Scooter will be reading it too, but it takes him a lot longer to get through a book than it does me (the man is always busy!). Anyway, I figured I’d give a partial review because it’s going to take me awhile to get through the book.

DISCLAIMER: I am a wrestling fan - there are some wrestlers that I love, and some that I don’t. I will be honest and say that I don’t know all of the finishing moves and I also don’t know who every single wrestler has been since the beginning of time, but I do know a lot about the world of wrestling from my research and I had absolutely NO strong feelings either way about Bret Hart going into the reading of this book, so this is a thoroughly impartial review

Let’s stat with how big this book is. I am a very avid reader and usually have a book finished in less then three days. I started reading this on Monday, however, and I am only a quarter of the way through it. This book tricks you, because it is 553 pages long, which is a respectable amount for any book to be, but the words are so tiny that, should the print have been normal sized, the book would have easily reached over 1,000 pages. I can only guess that the publishers figured people wouldn’t buy the book if it was that long, so they made the print smaller to compensate.

In the beginning, Bret gives readers a very good look into what life in the Hart household is like. He talks about not being able to get any homework done because of the noise, and of Stu throwing one of his kids down the stairs when he started a fire in the attic. He talks about how he got to go to his first wrestling match when he was 4, and how his first job was handing out programs.

WWE remembers Montreal Screwjob & More

Thursday, November 8th, 2007

With WWE hitting on the “Hitman”, is Vince feeling guily. On WWE.com they have a few photos of the “Montreal Screwjob” way back when.

This event happened on Survivor Series on November 9, 1997 at the Molson Centre (now Bell Centre) in Montreal, Canada. This screwjob in wrestling terms happened when HBK had Hart in a sharp shooter (Bret’s signature move). By orders of Vince McMahon, Earl Hebner, referee for this match, called for the bell even thou Bret had not submitted. HBK was declared the winner by submission and the new WWF Champion.

The rest is history.

Way back when Viince was already in the business ( he had purchased WWF silently from his father) about three plus years he was running it while out any one knowing, except for Bret Hart.

Also WWE has the complete match of Bret Hart VS Shawn Michaels at Survivor Series 1997, the birth place of the “Screwjob” in Montreal. Click here.

For more of the Montreal Screwjob
Carefuly examine each and every photo. Each photo tells its own story.

Hitman Chats with WWE and Tells All

Thursday, November 8th, 2007

bret_hart_02.jpg

WWE has a story up for the Fans to see. Bret “The Hitman” Hart talks with the man who “screwed” him over some 10 years ago.

Could this saga haunt Mr. McMahon for this long, or is this a way for him to say, “Bret - I’m sorry”?

I hope Vincent Kennedy McMahon feels this way cause I beileve Bret was and still is the “Icon of Wrestling” and Vince jsut screw himself and Bret out of a long heartful relationship Bret could of have witht he WWE.

On the 10 years anniversary of the Montreal Screwjob WWE gets a rare chance for an interview witht he “Hitman”.

“I wish things had never changed and that I was still [in WWE],? stated a very frank Hit Man. “I look back on that incident as a bad decision by Vince McMahon and WWE. I think we all can look back and know that there was a better way to do things.?

He continued, “It’s a shame that things happened the way they did, but in the end, I think people have always respected me for being someone who always stood behind his beliefs, and stood up for himself.?

In the closing moments of Hart’s title defense against Shawn Michaels back at Survivor Series, the leader of then-blossoming D-Generation X locked Bret in the champion’s own signature submission move, the Sharpshooter. Though Hart never surrendered within in the hold he’d, by then, perfected in his 21-year career, the referee signaled for the bell to end the match. The Hit Man never officially gave up, but the WWE Title was instantly awarded to a scowling HBK. Confusion, anger, betrayal, embarrassment, disgrace, disgust – all compounding and forming a squall within the belly of the Hit Man.

“There were a lot of elements that worked during that period; a lot of political jealousies and rivalries,? the five-time WWE Champion claimed. “I don’t forgive anybody involved in that – from Gerald Brisco to Michaels to Triple H to Vince. But at the same time, I realize that life’s too short to carry around hard feelings on an everyday basis.?
