Getting To Know
Shawn Michaels Interview
Saturday, November 17th, 2007The Miami Herald snagged an interview with everyone’s favorite “sexy boy”, Shawn Michaels. The interview talks about how he’s become a steady man. Michaels married Rebecca Curci, who was a Nitro girl in WCW, and now has two children: a son named Cameron Kade, who’s 7, and a daughter named Cheyenne Michelle, who is 3. Michaels says that it’s only recently that he began allowing his son to watch wrestling.

”Now we TiVo, and he can watch daddy. He came to his first wrestling match at the last WrestleMania where he sat front row. We took him out during the divas match, but he came back. Now his favorite wrestler is John Cena. After the match, I went over to him, and he asked, if I was OK. Then I said, `Yes,’ and he said, `I’m glad, but I wanted John to win.”’
Shawn also talked about teaming up with Triple H for DX (which we all LOVE).
”I enjoy doing it, but I know Hunter wants to move on,” said Michaels. “I’m fine with whatever because for me it’s always a creative issue — as long as it’s stuff that is amusing and funny. Doing the DX thing, I have to poke fun at my age and things like that because I would insult anybody thinking I’m kind of a hip rebel back when I was 30. I think that has come across, but I wouldn’t want us to abuse it because I think that would be foolish to do, and I think we need to start to build other folks and stars for tomorrow. The more we go back to the past, the more difficult it is to move forward.”

Getting to know….Miiiisssterr Keennedddy
Sunday, August 12th, 2007Born Kenneth Anderson on March 6, 1976, he is currently wrestling on the Raw rooster under the name of Ken Kennedy or known as MMMIIISSSTTTER KKEENNNEEDDY.
Before his wrestling career got started, Ken was a trainer and security guard at a nuclear power plant. During his college years Ken did announcing for college basketball games and did a radio show for his media class. As a joke, one of Kens fellow classmates asked him to repeat the surnames again to make it more comical, which is where he gets his gimmick that he uses currently. As for Ken Anderson, WWE didn’t want anyone to get him confused the Anderson boys, Ole and Arn, so WWE came up with Kennedy, which comes from Vincent Kennedy McMahon.
Ken is trained in Eskrima and Taekwondo, two forms of martial arts. When he’s relaxing, Ken loves to play video games and watch his favorite tv show, 24.
In Ken’s world, a dream match between him and Stone Cold Steve Austin would be a dream come true. The Rattlesnake gave Ken the inspiration to become a professional wrestler.
After serving for his country in the United States Army, Ken was trained by Eric Hammers & Mike Krause - owners of the All-Star Championship Wrestling. Ken had a trial period through WWE Jakked, WWE Velocity, and WWE Sunday Night Heat as an independant wrestler thru 2001-2004. He also appeared on TNA Explosion and through this Jeff Jarret approached Ken for a contract but communications fell through.
In February 2005, Anderson signed a developmental contract with WWE.

Getting to know..Londrick
Wednesday, May 30th, 2007Brian Kendrick was born May 29, 1978. Kendrick has previously worked for Ring of Honor, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, Pro Wrestling ZERO1-MAX, and other various independent and Japanese promotions, usually under the ring name Spanky.
His first match, for the Texas Wrestling Alliance against fellow Texas Wrestling Academy graduate “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson, ended in a 10-min time limit draw and received a standing ovation. He proceeded to make a name for himself in UPW, Ring of Honor, and Pro Wrestling ZERO-ONE thanks to his great ringwork and the eccentric persona he crafted for himself.
On January 13, 2004, Brian Kendrick requested to be released from his WWE contract for not getting enough money from house shows and to pursue a run with Pro Wrestling ZERO-ONE in Japan.
In August 2004, he signed a contract with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA),but did not last long but for a couple of appearances.
On June 28, 2005, it was confirmed that Brian Kendrick had returned to the WWE. During this time, Kendrick would team with his partner Paul London. The team would make their first reappearance on SmackDown!
Paul London graduated high school and went on to college. While in college, London would train to become a professional wrestler in a nearby training school, the Shawn Michaels’ Texas Wrestling Academy.
During his time working for ROH, London feuded with Michael Shane and had acclaimed matches against other Shawn Michaels-trained wrestlers such as Bryan Danielson and Spanky. London went on to sign a WWE Development deal in mid-2003, working a few dark matches before being sent to its development territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling on August 30, 2003.As a result of the number of injuries it was reported that WWE management told their cruiserweight stars to tone down their high flying nature, banning both the 450 splash and the shooting star press. London, who used the shooting star on July 30, 2005 During this time he would go on a long losing streak before returning as a face and re-teaming with the newly rehired Brian Kendrick, who was previously known as Spanky.
He was the one injured by a 450° splash before the decision was made to ban the move. During this time he would go on a long losing streak before returning as a face and re-teaming with the newly rehired Brian Kendrick, who was previously known as Spanky.
WWE Divas..Good,Bad or Ugly?
Friday, May 11th, 2007I usually don’t post up women for this site but I am going to give it a shot. Don’t really know if the “WOMEN” in WWE now a days really mean anything more. Too me this is a T & A matinee show.
Eye candy for your thought in todays wrestling world:

Just a few years back there was a women who really opened my eyes to professional wrestling at a womens point of view. Chyna (Joanie Laurer) being herself can really take a punch thus also looking so damn hot. Too me this is way women should be, great looking but also an ass-kicking force in the squared circle. I am truely sorry too see this women gone ,but for Joanie I commend her for her accomplishments.

It was easily noted on Raw (because it’s been the talk of the internet) that Vince McMahon pulled a “nobody” out of the audience to wrestle Umaga, with the Intercontinental title on the line. He was announced as Santino Marella but his real name is actually Anthony Carelli.
Anthony Carelli has studied and compted in Judo for most of his life. He was in a variety of MMA (Mixed-Martial Arts) tournaments in Japan until 2004, it was then that he signed a developmental deal with the WWE and was immediately signed to OVW (Ohio Valley Wrestling). He debuted there as an audience plant in July 2005. Paul Heyman renamed him Boris Alexiev in 2006 and he was to become known as the “Russian shoot fighter”.
In January of 2007, Carelli won the OVW title in a televised match. He lost the belt on March 17. Less than a month later he suddenly appeared in Italy posing as a member of the Raw fan nation, when Vince plucked him out of the crowd.
Carelli is no more Italian or Russian than I am. He was born in New York, NY, and currently lives in Louisville, KY.
While I do not believe he is a viable contender to take the championship from Cena, I do think that he will be grouped in with the likes of Rey Mysterio and Chris Benoit. His martial arts background will come in handy against these cruiserweights.

Getting To Know…Bobby Lashley
Monday, April 16th, 2007
Part of my interests in running this site is to unmask the wrestlers in the WWE. To find out exactly who they are and where they’ve come from, so that we can all be better informed about these great athletes.
Bobby Lashley was born Franklin Roberto Lashley on July 16, 1976. Lashley attended Missouri Valley College where he graduated with a degree in Human Service Agency Management. He also won three national amateur wrestling championships between 1996 and 1998, placing fourth in 1995. Throughout 1997 and 1998 he was the NAIA National Wrestling Champion. Lashley later joined the United States Army where he continued to wrestle for his enjoyment.
Lashley signed a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment in November of 2003 and was assigned to the WWE’s official training ground, Ohio Valley Wrestling, where he started his training under Lance Storm.
Almost two years after his training began, Lashley made his televised WWE debut on SmackDown! under the name Bobby Lashley on September 23, 2005. Lashley was introduced as a three-time National Amateur Wrestling Champion, four-time All-American, a two-time Armed Forces Champion and a 2002 Silver Medalist at the Military World Championship.
On November 14, 2006, Lashley moved to ECW in a surprise appearance. At December to Dismember Lashley was the fifth person released into the match. He eliminated Test and The Big Show by pinfall after a Spear to both and became the new ECW World Champion. This victory made Lashley the first African American to hold the ECW title.
Some of his finishing and signature moves are:
• Dominator (Running front powerslam or Inverted front powerslam)
• Military press powerslam
• Spear
Lashley currently has a daughter, Kyra, that was born in 2005.
