This Friday, all eyes will be on Undertaker and World Heavyweight Champion Edge, as they prepare to defend their respective streaks at WrestleMania. For Undertaker, it’s a 15-0 unbeaten WrestleMania record. For Edge, it’s never having lost to Undertaker. As first announced last weekend in a WWE Mobile on AT&T exclusive video, Edge plans to celebrate the end of Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak this Friday on SmackDown. WWE.com has learned Edge and his cohorts are planning a macabre burial service. Will this grim celebration be premature, or will it prove to be a bold prediction of things to come in Orlando, Fla. on Sunday night?
Last week on SmackDown, United States Champion MVP clashed – verbally and physically – with Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho inside the VIP Lounge. In the end, Jericho got the upper hand on his Money in the Bank adversary by knocking MVP from atop a ladder in the ring. The two will meet again this Friday, “Champion vs. Champion,” just 48 hours before they battle on the WrestleMania stage. Will MVP claim victory once again over Y2J, like he did in a tag team match Monday night on Raw?
With Batista set to face Umaga in the SmackDown vs. Raw Battle for Brand Supremacy at WrestleMania, Raw General Manager William Regal will be sending a Raw Superstar to SmackDown this week to give the Animal one final test. Who will Regal choose for this mission?
WrestleMania will also have implications on ECW Champion Chavo Guerrero’s title. The winner of the 24-Man WrestleMania Battle Royal will earn the opportunity to face the champion in a title match. SmackDown Superstars Kane, Mark Henry, Chuck Palumbo, The Great Khali and Jamie Noble among others will all be included in this 24-man over-the-top rope war. Last week on SmackDown, Henry destroyed Kane, Khali and Palumbo. This Friday, will one of SmackDown’s big men be out for revenge before they all do battle at ‘Mania?
Also this Friday, the Diva Competition heats up even further as one more Diva will be eliminated according to your votes, and we move one step closer to finding out who will win a custom Beverly Hills Chopper. To vote, text your favorite Diva’s name to 44993.
Tune in to Friday Night SmackDown at 8/7 CT on The CW Network to find out what happens on the final SmackDown before The Granddaddy of Them All!

TNA or American Gladiators
TNA or American Gladiators. ..:namespace prefix = o ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office” />
I’ve been contacted bye both companies but I don’t know which way to go. Sins I was a kid I always wanted to be an American Gladiators and a Pro Wrestler. Now I have the opportunity to do both. What do you think?
Wow! A few hours away from the computer and all hell breaks loose. First, and probably most importantly, Jeff Hardy has once again been suspended. This is his second violation of the Wellness policy, meaning that he has to spend 60 days away from wrestling. One more suspension and he will be fired. Again. Well, alright, technically last time he chose to leave at the same time that he was going to be let go for refusal to go into drug rehab and because of his bad behavior during shows.
On the other side we’ve got Jake “The Snake” Roberts, who will be getting out of his third stint in rehab. The 52 year old was the first former wrestler to take advantage of the Rehab program that the WWE set up after the Benoit tragedy. He granted an interview to Chris Yandek of CYInterview.com discussing how he feels and his future. Here are a few quick excerpts:
“First off I want to say, thanks to the WWE I have a new lease on life. I feel like I’ve truly exercising the demons I carried for so many reasons. Without the help of Vince McMahon and company I wouldn’t have had it. It’s been very expensive. It’s been very intense. It’s been a whole lot of damn hard work. Truth be known the first time I went to rehab and the second time I went to try to save a job. This time I truly went to save my life.”
CY: Was the time easier for you in there, I know you still have some time left – because you had the company of Scott Hall and Ron Simmons who were also still there with you?
JR: “Well, they pretty much keep us apart from each other and rightfully so. They’re trying to get us to work on our own stuff. We see each other in between breaks and stuff but that’s about it. I can’t cure Scott Hall or Ron Simmons and they can’t cure me. Just as luck would have it we’re all in there together. I will say it’s great seeing those guys in there because they’re man enough to say I need help too. My addictive mind said Jake you’re a pussy if you can’t beat this on your own. Jake you’re not a man just if you can’t say no. Well, Nancy Reagan can kiss my ass. Just saying no is a bunch of bullshit because it is much more than that when it becomes an addiction and you have to do the things the right way. These people have worked hard very hard with me and very hard with everybody there to open all the doors they need to, to clean up those closets to clean up that mess. Not only does it need cleaning up but show us this mess will grow again if we don’t deal with it and deal with it properly and deal with it daily.”
CY: There are a lot of rumors going around that you’ll be part of this year’s WWE Hall of Fame group. Can you confirm or deny this?
JR: “I have not heard any truth to this at all. It makes me laugh. The times I use to get pissed off by these things then I go on the internet and for Christ sakes I’ve been dead four or five times and gosh I am still here. It bothers me sometimes a little bit more than others. This especially because it’s a special time in my life, need to clean, get right, and the doors are opening. No I have not been contacted in any way by them about anything that’s going on the net. That’s the damn thing about this damn internet. There is a lot of good things on there but there is a whole lot of bullshit on there too.”

Hello everyone. I wanted to take a second to get anyone who’s interested up to speed on the status of TheHardyShow.com website. Our server, Hostway.com, has temporarily removed our website from their server. The reason they’ve done this is because the website was hacked and the hackers had been secretly spamming several sources across the world wide web via TheHardyShow.com. Currently, myself, Andrew, and Eric are on the case to promptly correct this issue. It appears TheHardyShow has grown so popular that we need to upgrade to an even more secure server-so these bastard hackers can’t tamper with the site. This issue is extremely frustrating to us, as I’m sure it is to you as well. We’re hoping to have this problem resolved and a better-than-ever TheHardyShow.com very soon. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

WWE released a press release:
WWE® To Cease Affiliation With Ohio Valley Wrestling
February 7, 2008
World Wrestling Entertainment® announced today that Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) will no longer be affiliated with World Wrestling Entertainment as an official developmental territory, making Florida Championship Wrestling™ (FCW™) WWE’s official development training facility for talent around the globe.
“Ohio Valley Wrestling has been a tremendous partner with World Wrestling Entertainment through the years, and we thank them for their work in developing many of today’s WWE Superstars,” said John Laurinaitis, Senior Vice President of Talent Relations. “We look forward to Florida Championship Wrestling playing host to the next generation of WWE Superstars recruited from around the world.”
Last November, WWE announced the formation of Florida Championship Wrestling, a new training center for future WWE Superstars. The facility has four wrestling rings and approximately 35 contracted athletes, with plans to increase that number to more than 70 in the near future. The facility is now fully operational, as WWE undertook large-scale renovations to FCW in order to accommodate its training needs. The finished training facility is more than 10,000 square feet, including an arena that will seat nearly 300 fans. The new training facility will also host a weekly show in front of a live audience, to be broadcast for regional television.
FCW is owned and operated by Steve Keirn, a former professional wrestler and producer for WWE. WWE trainer Tom Prichard oversees all talent training at the facility.

Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee brought a great deal of muscle to Florence as he promoted his conservative platform with action star Chuck Norris and professional wrestler “Nature Boy” Ric Flair.
Huckabee introduced Norris as the next defense secretary and Flair as the next homeland security secretary.
Norris said Huckabee’s Fair Tax proposal is one of the things that impressed him most about the candidate.
He recalled a time when he was working a day job and teaching at night after getting a black belt in Korean martial arts.
“I said, ‘This is not fair.’ The harder I worked, the more I got punished for this effort” because of taxes, he said.
He said the burden should rest on U.S. corporations, who “should be paying 80 percent of the taxes.”

Flair told the crowd to support Huckabee “because he is a good man with a good heart, and this is God’s country right here.”

Well Vince is coming back, he is going to live next door to Donald himself, rubbing his elbows.
McMahon just snatched up a penthouse at Trump Parc, the Donald’s Stamford, Conn., luxury high-rise in partnership with Louis Cappelli and Tom Rich. Our Connecticut Mata Hari tells us that McMahon, whose World Wrestling Entertainment headquarters is based in the Connecticut city, paid slightly over $4 million for his penthouse pad, the highest ever for a Connecticut condo.
Now that Vince has got his high priced pad, Vince McMahon will be making appearances in the “boardroom” on Celebrity Apprentice on NBC this season. Making decision based on WWE style he has been doing in the past.

Matt Hardy posted a message about his surgery on his Myspace Page - here it is:
I AM STILL ALIVE
As most of you know, I experienced a ruptured appendix which released toxins that internally poisoned me on Tuesday. After being in excruciating pain for nearly 24 hours, I went under the knife late Tuesday night and had my appendix removed. For the last four days, I’ve been virtually bed-ridden in Tampa General Hospital. For those four days, I’ve been having my body intravenously pumped and flushed with powerful antibiotics to kill the infections within my abdomen caused by the toxins. It wasn’t exactly the way I planned on spending Thanksgiving of 07–away from home, away from my family, and in torturous pain. But it was a good Thanksgiving nonetheless-because I’m very thankful I’m still alive. I’ve got alot left to do in this life, and I wanna thank God for continuing to give me that opportunity. I’ll speak on all this in greater length later, but I need my sleep now… Thank you guys-for all your support and get well soon wishes, they mean alot…

There’s some crazy things being said in the media right now about John Cena and steroids. Cena had an interview recently with CNN and was asked about steroid use. He made a comment that went something like this:
“This is a crazy question. And it’s something that — it’s tough to answer just because of the way society is now. The way people conceive things because performance-enhancing drugs have got the spotlight, and it’s a hot thing to talk about. I can’t tell you I haven’t, but you’ll never be able to prove that I have.”
The WWE is saying that this interview has been skewed - THEY say that John Cena began answering a question about whether or not he used steroids by saying, “Absolutely not!”
The WWE believes that CNN should apologize. What do you think?
