-PWInsider reports: WWE has signed the son of former WWE tag team champion Barry Darsow (Demolition Smash) to a developmental deal. Dakota Darsow, 21, has been assigned to WWE’s developmental territory, Florida Championship Wreslting in Tampa, FL.

-WWE’s newest Smackdown star Kizarny., the next freak to joins Vince McMahons three ring circus had an recent interview with The Miami Herald. He talks about meeting Vince Mcmahon for the first time.

”I got to have a sit down with Vince McMahon, and we chatted,” said Kizarny, 35, from the Florida Championship Wrestling training facility in Tampa.

“Right out of his mouth, he said I had a good attitude, and I had a ton of energy. I’m humbly confident to know I got that in spades. It was all right.” More on the story GO HERE>>>>>

-Smackdown wrestler, Hurricane Helms is stating in his Myspace, that he returning to the ring on this week’s edition of Smackdown. Helms has been outta action for over a year. as a matter in fact it was April of 2007. Helms underwent neck fusion surgery. You can read his Myspace account, about his in-ring return and personal tragedies he has endured since his surgery. This Friday, Dec 5th, Hurricane Helms Returns to the Ring!

-PWInsider reports: WWE has released two developmental talent from FCW. The first release is Imani Lee, a former K-1 fighter who is a good friend of Batista’s. The second is Mike Jarvi, a 7 footer who worked in Florida Championship Wrestling as Giant Titan.

Cardio, Cardio and more……..

Well, I’ve made it back to my pre-Thanksgiving weight. I wasn’t always a big fan of cardio. During my football years it was all about strength for me. In the last 10 years the elliptical trainer has become the center of my daily workouts. Treadmills and bikes hurt my knees so the elliptical trainer has saved me and incredibly improved my endurance. So, for all those email questions about training and fitness - never leave cardio out! Find the machine that is most comfortable for you and get to it. This is a topic I could spend all day on but with millions of body types, levels of activity and ability, it would be irresponsible of me to offer up too much advice. Like the gym equipment says, “You should always consult your physician before beginning any exercise routine.”

I should probably give a shout out to my iPod for getting me thru my workouts. I’ve gotten pretty hooked on my favorite podcasts in recent months. There’s a great wrestling podcast - Smart Wrestling Fan. I find their commentary funny and insightful. I love football so I’m always tuning in to NFL Rants and Raves. Those two guys are quite entertaining in their own right. For the tekkies….check out the T4 Show.

If you’re “new” to WWE Universe….welcome! I’ve been plugging away for a couple of months now and it’s been great. I get the unique opportunity to connect with the fans more than I’ve ever had. I hop into the Forums quite a bit. I suppose I’m a bit biased but I’m usually in the “D’Lo Appreciation” Thread. The response has really been overwhelming and certainly more than I ever expected. I really get a feel for the support I have out there in the Universe…..no pun intended. It’s no secret that my return is off to a slow start but I continue to remain upbeat. My time is coming.

Paul Heyman starts off saying what problems are in the WWE. Here is just a start.

SO, what’s the biggest problem with the WWE product?

Is it Vince McMahon?

Well, he’s 63, but that doesn’t mean he has to be so out of the loop in terms of cultural waves. I just think Vince is listening to the same group of people who are stuck in the bubble of the WWE Universe, while pop culture is totally different today than it was even six months ago.

To its enormous credit, WWE programming is light years ahead of anyone else in terms of production value, but the utilisation of those production assets is tied up in pyro and the slick presentation instead of character building mechanisms, which the company has gotten away from…and that was always Vince’s strong suit.

It was, by the way, also something his Dad excelled in. Defining the characters, presenting the persona in a manner the audience would understand, and giving the public a reason to be interested in the storylines, emotionally involved in the characters, and enticed to pay money to see the outcome of a match that was hyped by the arc of the storyline itself. -IGN recently had a chance to chat with three of Florida Championship Wrestling’s (a WWE talent development organization) hottest Divas, each of whom is expected to make the leap to the WWE roster in the coming months, Miss Angela, Alicia Fox and Wesley Holiday. Each of these beautiful brawlers shared their experiences rising through the ranks of the FCW, how they broke into the wrestling business, and gave us a little taste of things to come.

-Recently, the Impact video game was launched for fans who want to recreate the TNA Wrestling experience at home. Now, through the new TNA DVD Boardgame, created and released by Game Development Company (GDC), fans now have the option for a more old-school method of gameplay. Recently, SLAM! Wrestling had the chance to visit GDC’s home office and was given some time to play the game….TNA board game a home run

-PWInsider reports: VH1 reality star David “Punk” Otunga of the “I Love New York” series has been training in WWE’s Florida Championship Wrestling developmental territory and is now signed to a deal with WWE. Otunga is engaged to singer/actress Jennifer Hudson and has been on a sabbatical from FCW due to the recent Hudson family tragedy.

-Vince McMahon has informed all his announcers that the talent will be known as “entertainers” from now on, instead of wrestlers or even superstars, effected Immediately.

With this being in effect another rule has been added….Vince McMahon has also banned the use of the term “sports entertainment” and is now just being referred to as “entertainment.”

-The Wrestling Observer reports : At an recent talent evaluation at Florida Championship Wrestling talent evaluation camp this week, WWE promised to sign a least one newcomer to a WWE contract, they decided to go with a model/bodybuilder named Matt Walsh, here is his Myspace.. Many wrestlers with no experience paid $1,000 each for the evaluation camp. John Laurinaitis promised to sign an unknown.

WWE developmental talent Sinn Bowdee will be debuting on the Smackdown roster real soon. Bowdee has been working for Florida Championship Wrestling, since his departure from Canda. WWE has filmed vignettes for him, with a sort of an carnival freak appearance.

-WrestlingObserver Reports: Matt Striker missed last night’s PPV, No Mercy, was because his father passed away.

-Brett DiBiase, the 20-year-old son of Ted DiBiase Sr., brother of current WWE World Tag Team Champion Ted DiBiase Jr., is now wrestling with WWE’s Florida Championship Wrestling developmental territory. Brett seems to be grasping his in ring abilities, as you might say the ropes..lol

-Chris Jericho lost an tooth during his ladder match with Shawn Michaels. During the match, half way through, you can see that Jericho lost an tooth on the left side of his mouth.

-Yours truly is doing a ton of media this week at radio and TV stations in Oklahoma City and Tulsa for Friday Night SmackDown’s upcoming move to MyNetwork TV on Oct. 3. My various radio interviews will give dirt mongers the opportunity to misquote me on the wrestling Internet. That will not be the case here on WWE.com, where my esteemed colleague, and he of the fabulous fade, Dr. Joe E. Styles, rules his domain with a keen eye.

Rumor has it that Sir Elton John himself presented The Brian Kendrick with the ring jacket he wears. Does that mean that the jacket came out of Sir Elton’s closet?

Don’t spread this around, but sources say that the wrestling tights that French Canadian lass Maryse wears this Friday night on SmackDown were painted on. That couldn’t happen on a PG-rated show, could it?

The question of the week is, how much bubble wrap did it take to adequately package Kenny “Don’t Call Me Lenny” Dykstra’s nose last week on SmackDown? Sad but true … Kenny is only 22 years old and he’s already in storage.
