Benoit’s Father Agree’s to Settlement

Michael Benoit, father of pro wrestler Chris Benoit, has come to an agreement of the The Benoit Estate. The agreement is not set in stone yet, but looks promising.

According to he Associated Press in Atlanta, Benoit, from Alberta, Canada, that the agreement calls for the proceeds from the estate to “pretty much” be evenly split between his son’s two children from a previous marriage and the family of his slain wife, Nancy.

He says the estate consists of two homes, several bank, investment accounts and other assets.

One estimate of the estate has put its value between 1.5 million and $3 million, Canadian.

Benoit, who has been acting on behalf of his 15-year-old grandson and ten-year-old granddaughter, declined to provide the exact terms.
