Benoit Killed Wife and Son
It is now being said by investigators that they believe that Chris Benoit took the lives of his son and his wife sometime during the weekend, and then took his own life on Monday.
He also apparently sent a few very curious text messages on Sunday to friends within the WWE. This is one of the things that prompted WWE officials to contact the police to check on Benoit and his family.
After the way some of the wrestlers talked about him last night, it leaves me to wonder if they knew. For example, William Regal’s comments seemed very odd. He made comments about “later I’ll be able to say more about him”, and, “for tonight, this is all I’m willing to say”. The one person that seemed genuinely shocked was Edge.
It will be interesting to see what happens when the text messages come out in the public eye, as well as how WWE handles Smackdown!.
I have two young children - my son is six. I always held the greatest esteem for Chris Benoit as a wrestler. Now…I’m not so sure.

WWE AS WELL AS ALL WRESTLING WILL GET A BLACK EYE FOR THIS BENOIT WAS ON A ROID RAGE ETC. ETC WELL THIS WAS ONE MAN WHO KILLED TWO PEOPLE HIS WIFE AND CHILD AND LEFT TWO OTHER CHILDREN WITH NO DAD AND WITH QUESTIONS MAYBE CHRIS BENOIT WAS SO “QUIET” B\C HE WAS INSANE ALL THEY SAID LAST NIGHT ON RAW WAS HE WAS QUIET WELL LOOK AT WHAT BEING QUIET GOT THE BENOIT’S WWE AND ALL THE FANS. I don’t really know what to say about the events surrounding Benoit Family’s deaths, I do know that he was an awesome Wrestler and will always be remembered.
I wish we knew what was going on in the mind of Chris Benoit in his last months. However I can only imagine it was terrible if he did this.
The mind is a hard thing to predict, and I knew that Chris was a loving and caring father as he was a loving husband. The Truth is we may never truly know what happened there this weekend. We can only guess and we should take care in what we say, because the mind of his other children are delicate let them put it together for themselves, in their own time.

You know, he was my favorite wrestler. He had been for over ten years. Inside the ring, there was no equal as far as technical wrestling ability goes. I find myself now, in the wake of this tragic event, unable to comprehend how someone who was so respected and loved by his peers could do this. I simply can not comprehend why someone would do this.

Detecive Nathan and his steriod theory. what did he get a bad batch of roids and go ape-shit? but never went crazy for the last two decades of taking roids. Give me a break. We are jumping to conclusions. What about this one: Woman killed her son, then Chris finds this and kills Woman and then hangs himself. It’s all in your imagination bullshit.

I appreciate your passion Brett. But my faith is starting to waiver in Chris Benoit. I admit if I was a father and my wife killed our son I might snap myself. I even had the idea that it was murder suicide by his wife, and when he found this he was so upset he killed himself. But now its hard to tell. We all need to wait and see what the final findings are, and hope that Chris did not do something insane.

Being a promoter for the website ,I am SHOCKED.I watched Chris Benoit every since i was a kid even when he was in the Four-Horse. I can really say i really looked up to this man alot. But I can say, I do not understand why and what he did to his family.
I can say he loved his kids very much,but I my question is to everyone that can truely answer this”why did Chris do what he did?”He killed the one thing in life that meant the most to him, his wife and children.I am at mixed emotions and don’t know what to think. I more I do the more I get confused.Believe it or not I can say I respect the man for who he was,but not what he did.
