Big things happening at Wrestlemania, not the least is the Mr. Musclemania between Cody Rhodes and Santino. Which Layfield Energy is sponsoring along with Custom Muscle.

Very saddened to hear about Andrew Martin’s death. Andrew was a good friend and I hate to see someone so young with so much promise not get to live a full life.

I want to reiterate that I don’t own OVW, I am an advertiser there in the same way I advertise with Fox 17 in Nashville and 97.5 the Rock in St Louis. We have good distribution in these areas so it makes sense to advertise where we have products on shelves. The hardest thing in retail is not to get on shelves but to get them off the shelves by customers buying the product.

When you compare the earmarks to the AIG bonuses, what is congress mad about? Their argument is that they are only stealing a small amount, but percentage wise it is higher than the AIG bonuses. Why can’t AIG use the same argument?

If congress says they are transparent, could a crook make the same argument that he stole your jewelry but left the lights on?

Congress wants to investigate A-Rod? Because A-Rod used steroids. Well, this latest earmark bill was on steroids too, but at least A-Rod got off of them.

Speaking of baseball. I have Mets season tickets with Brian Gewirtz again. I am a Texas Ranger fan, which means I hate baseball; however, these seats are just above the Google Earth photos, so I really hate baseball now. I have to wear sunglasses at the stadium so no one will recognize that JBL is sitting in a different area code. I would say it’s embarrassing, but by the time I walk above the snow line to get there I am too cold to be embarrassed.

The Vyper Fight League is starting up in Louisville on April 24th; I am very excited for Layfield Energy to be the sponsor of that promotion as well. Louisville is a great old fight town; I think the promotion will do quite well. And, once again, don’t report that I own it-I am the sponsor advertiser, and thrilled to be doing it.

I know you are getting sick of me saying it, but I still plan on doing something historic at Wrestlemania. I can’t let the 25th anniversary of Mania go by without JBL doing something big. I do plan on doing something big in my great home state of Texas.

My buddy and I caught two 80 pound plus tarpon this past week in the Florida Keys, biggest fish I have ever seen in a boat. Thank God I had my Layfield Energy Plus no Pain in me.
