Angle gets “Good Riddance” Award from WWE
From the Year End issue of WWE Magazine, in the Best of 2006 Awards, Kurt Angle has been given the “Good Riddance” Award.
From the Article:
“What’s the best way to re-invent yourself? Walk out at the peak of your career. Worked wonders for Lex Lugar and Randy Savage.”
Harsh words of truth, or just sour grapes?
I have to think that WWE is kick themselves for giving TNA a top-level star like Kurt Angle. Angle was being completely wasted in the WWE version of ECW, and there was really no chance of him doing anything significant in that brand…so I can understand his frustration.
I also think that TNA is a good place for Angle because the WWE writers seemed to have a hard time coming up with interesting things for him to do. His last World Title run was completely forgettable, and he was looking burned out on camera.
In TNA we have a new, re-invigorated Kurt Angle, and the war between TNA and WWE is looming every closer now that he has chosen sides.

That seems pretty petty to me. You cant really compare Kurt Angle to Luger
