Angelina Love: Tara in TNA, New Knock Outs from Mexico/Japan, Movie and MORE

by

angelina-love-1-IGN.com has an sit down interview with TNA KnockOut Angelina LOVE. Here are a few snippets:

IGN: You just recently began working with Victoria, now Tara in TNA. What’s that been like for you?

Love: Honestly, it’s very cool. When I was released from the WWE, in every interview afterwards they would ask me “Who did you always want to wrestle?” or “Who are you upset that you never got a chance to wrestle?” And I always wanted to wrestle Victoria. I watched everything that she did with Molly Holly and Trish [Stratus], and everything back when the WWE’s Women’s Division was really really good. And as much of a rivalry as we do have, I’ve always wanted to work with her. So to be the first one out of that bunch to get to work with – it’s pretty cool. It makes the little mark inside me very happy.

IGN: You’ve some international Knockouts headed into TNA. You’ve got Saritia from south of the border. You’ve got Ayaka Hamada coming in from Japan. What’s it like to be part of an international hub?

Love:
It’s pretty cool. Like I said, nobody has to have just one look. Or one kind of wrestling style. We’re all over the map, and all over the world. We’re a very eclectic bunch which I think will keep people tuning in for a very long time.

IGN: You had a role in a movie recently, is that right? A movie with Luke Perry and LeAnn Rimes?

Love: It’s called Good Intentions. And it’s actually not as recent as everybody thinks it is. The first time I actually filmed the scene was back in 2005 when I was in WWE Developmental. They wanted a girl who looked good and who could play the role of a stripper and yet be able to fall and not hurt herself on a stripper stage. And those stripper stages can be extremely lethal when you fall on them. So I did that, but then we re-filmed it in August of 2007 because they changed up pretty much all the actors in the movie. And that’s when Luke Perry, Jimmi Simpson and LeAnn Rimes came in and they changed everybody in the cast but me. They had me come back and do the same part. And that was 2007, so I guess the film is probably getting released somehow and that’s why news of it is coming out now. You can read the full interview here.
