During the SmackDown broadcast Friday (an WWE storyline for the return of Christian) night, WWE Champion Jeff Hardy was involved in a pyrotechnics accident as he was making his way towards the ring to be the guest on “The Cutting Edge.”
WWE Champion Jeff Hardy was involved in what seems to be a pyrotechnics accident. Jeff went into shock after suffering what appeared to be first and second degree burns from the explosion. Jeff was rushed to a local medical facility where he was treated for his injuries. WWE.com will update this situation as more details become available.

is this a storyline cause its filmed early in the week and if it was real and this serious then would the news not be released earlier?x

what id like to know is how they are going to explain away the 1st and 2nd degree burns when he goes to the rumble next week.
